Blue Eyes

The guys had been in Esbjerg for a day now and they had been falling over themselves to show off for Karen. She had taken some pictures of the guys together and separate as they were setting up for sound check. She kind of stood back so nobody would notice that when she was taking her pictures that it may have been looking like she was taking group pictures but as she was singling out one in particular. She really liked the way he looked. The way his hair flowed down and around his face. The way his pants clung to his legs, thighs and hips really tight. The way he let his shirt be unbuttoned down half way so his chest was exposed and all that hair on it was looking oh so sexy. She wanted to know was he doing it on purpose or he just didn’t know that it drove the girls wild. Except all of them were doing it but just somehow he had it going on. His smile was to die for and those deep blues no wonder the girls would hand over their panties to him. This was going to be such an easy gig she thought.

Walking over to the stage she asked Jon, “So how long does one of these sound checks last?”

But David jumped in. “When our task master here finally decides that we’re good enough to play Giant’s Stadium.” He laughed. Jon looked at him as gave him the Jersey salute.

“Yeah you have to know Jon he’s anal as hell. If sound check isn’t perfect he doesn’t let us go until it is. He wants to make sure everything is perfect like the instruments and the songs even the damn choreograph.” Richie told her shaking his head smiling.

“Can we just get the fuck back to work please? We have a lot to do. Karen I don’t mind you taking pictures but were busy here so just step back and let us work or I’m going to have to ask you to leave ok?” Jon told her getting annoyed now.

“Sure sorry about that.” She told him as she backed off. She just kept taking her pictures from afar and stayed out of they’re way. The guys looked at Jon and knew he wasn’t happy about this arrangement.

Later catering brought in food for them all to eat dinner as Kiss and them all sat down to eat. They all spread out into groups as they usually did and Karen just looked around for Jon. When she saw him sitting with Richie and David she went over to them to see if they would be receptive to her joining them. “Hey guys mind if I join you?” she ask them with her little sly smile.

Jumping up and trying not to spill their meals Richie and David both told her it would be fine as Jon just continued to eat his meal. She noticed this which she thought was weird because last night she thought she saw him show some interest in her.

“So Karen did you get some good pictures earlier at sound check?” David asked her.

“Yes I did you guys looked great up there on stage. So how long have you guys been doing this? Doc said a couple of years now.” she asked them. 

“Well that depends do you want to know as a group or per person Darling? Because as per person it varies. As a group Jon put this together in Nineteen eighty three. You know I would be glad to tell you the whole story Darling anything you want to know.” Richie volunteered.

“Hey I was Jon’s first band member since high school I think I can give a better take on it don’t you think?” David chimed in.

“Ok wait a minute alright let’s not start a fight over this. Why don’t I talk to the man himself since it is named after him after all.” She told them and looking directly at him as he stopped eating and just looked at the three of them with this annoyed look.

“Why these two can answer your questions just as good as I can. They were there at the beginning just like me.” He told her bothered as he was trying to eat.

“Well you are their leader and you did start this band and were there for all the in’s and out’s. Plus you did hire them and I would like to know why you choose them. Then I can interview them and asked them why they wanted to be in this band. It goes hand in hand.” She told him.

“Look Karen right? You’re not going to get anything right now before a concert. I’m hungry then I concentrate on my performance. Now they’re willing to talk to you so either interview them now or get the fuck out of here so we can get ready.” He told her. There was just something he didn’t trust about her.

“Fine but I’ll be taking pictures tonight. That Doc gave me permission to do. And I will get my interview because I have a contract. So I’ll be seeing you soon Blue eyes.” She got up walked away. The guys just sat there and could believe the balls on her.

“So Blue eyes what did you think of that?” Richie asked him.

“Call me that again and you’ll find out.” Jon told him pissed.

“So you think Doc put her in the mix don’t you?” Richie asked him.

“Don't you?” Jon asked him.

“Jon maybe he really has to do this article for the record company?” David asked him.

“I don’t give a shit. I don’t trust him especially with Ellie coming. If she wasn’t then I’d teach her a lesson because if you guys didn’t notice why is she so up in my face?” Jon asked them.

“Alright you got us there it’s a little too obvious. And I see what you mean if you come on to her and Ellie shows up you’re screwed.” Richie said with a face.

“Exactly. Look I’m not about to ruin my time with her it took me to use everything I had to convince her to come before we go home to come here. Plus I’m not about to ruin what I have with her I love her.” He told them as he smiled softly.

They both looked at him and smiled too. “We’re happy for you Jon you know that. I like Ellie from the first time I met her back in what seventy eight was it? Well whatever she was good for you back then and she’s good for you know. Whatever she does for you tell her to keep doing and maybe tell April to do it too because I think…Owe!” David yelled.

“It’s not like that you moron!” Jon told him laughing and got Richie laughing as well.

The guys went on stage and played hard. Karen was on the side of the stage and then down in front trying to take pictures. Luckily for her there was enough room for her to move around as there was a strip that she could move down below and across the stage but she was looking up at them. She needed a better angle. So she asked if she could move up a little higher or towards the back so she could get better pictures .She had to go out with one of the security guards so she wouldn’t get hurt. All night she went around the arena taking pictures of the group. And she so was going to take more of them backstage whether they or he wanted her to or not.

Richie Bozzett was sent to the airport to pick up Ellie when her flight got in. He went and got her bag and then led her to the car. But instead of going straight to the hotel they went straight to the arena as Jon had instructed.

“Um Rich I thought we were going to the hotel? Where are we going?” she asked him a little confused.

“Oh Jon gave me strict instructions to bring you to the arena. He wants to see you as soon as possible he said.” He told her. She smiled and chuckled he really has missed her she thought. That made her feel really special. Now she couldn’t wait to get to him now. Wow she was feeling butterflies in her stomach and she really hasn’t felt those since she meet him for the first time back in Sayreville.

The guys were just coming out of the showers when they heard the clicking of the camera and stopped dead in they’re tracks. “What The FUCK!!” Jon yelled.

“Oh God now what’s the matter? I have clearance to be here Jon. Doc said I could come back here and take pictures of you guys and write about what the after concert looks like. Well this is the after concert.” She smugly told him.

Richie and Tico had to hold him back before he lunged at her. “Look lady this is the showers for MEN! Got that. You want pictures you have to go thru me first. Now normally I wouldn’t care but I don’t like you. So when you start asking nicely maybe just maybe I’ll let you thru. Now get the FUCK OUT!” Jon told her breathing heavily as he was so angry he could have spit nails.  She left smiling and went to the reception area where the catering service had just finished setting up. She felt her tactics were working just fine and that she was getting to him. She felt that she would be in his bed very shortly but she didn’t realize what was coming.

The guys finished up getting dressed and Richie noticed that Jon was still steamed. So he walked over to him. “So Kidd how are you doing?”

“Just peachy you?” he told him while he was putting on his boots.

“Come on you know what I mean? She’s pushing your buttons we all can see that. Does she have any idea that Ellie is on her way?” Richie asked him.

“Have no idea and I don’t care. But I do know I don’t want to be her if she does try anything in front of her because Ellie will deck her.” He told him smiling.

“Oh girl fight oh wait other than getting excited do we want these two fighting?” Richie asked him.

“No I’ll break it up if something happens but it will be cool thou.” Said to him smiling.

“You do know were awful right?” Richie said smiling back.

“Yeah I know.” Jon chuckled.

They went out and mingled as Karen was taking pictures and talking to them one by one.  When Rich walked in with this cute girl and they looked around the room when she spotted her man talking with a couple of suits with a few girls hanging off of them. She thanked him for bringing her there and circled the room so she could sneak up behind him. When she got up to him and she put her arms around his waist when he jumped and she went backwards and fell down on her ass as he screamed at her.

“God Damn It! I told you to leave me alone!” the other guys all turned to see what happened as Alec and Karen did seeing she was talking to him and they saw Ellie lying there shell shocked as hell and a little bit out of it. When he realized that it was Ellie he nearly freaked as the guys ran over to him to see if she was ok. “Ellie! Oh My God! Are you ok?” he yelled as he bent down to her to check her out and the guys surrounded her.

Karen asked Alec who she was and he told her that she was Jon’s fiancé and she was shocked to find that out. More shocked that Jon knocked her on her ass.

“El Baby I’m so sorry I thought it was somebody else.” He told her as he put his arms around her as he tried to get her up.

She looked at him a little dazedly. “What the hell do you mean you thought I was someone else who?” she asked a little miffed. 

“I’ll have to explain it to you later Babe ok? Are you ok you still haven’t told me?” Jon asked her again excitedly.

“Yeah I should be ok you just knocked the wind out of me and scare the shit out of me that’s all.” She told him still a bit shook up.

“I can’t tell you how sorry I am.” He said again.

“Jon it’s ok so stop please everyone is looking.” She told him as she was getting embarrassed.

Jon just put his arms around her and kissed her on her cheek. “Why don’t you say we go back to the hotel Babe? I just want to get you alone anyway. I’ve had it here what do you say?” he asked her.

“Sounds good I just want to be with you anyway. But don’t you have to finish here I mean we’re already here?” she asked him.

“Don't care I’m going to take you back to the hotel and do…” but Ellie put her hand over his mouth.

“Don't you dare Bongiovi people can hear you.” She told him giggling.

“Yeah Bongiovi people can hear you.” Richie said sneaking up on them.

“Shut the fuck up Richie or I’ll drop you too.” Jon said laughing.

“Yeah good job there dropping Ellie like that.” Richie said as he bent down to give her a kiss on the cheek.

“Hi Richie how are you?” she asked him smiling.

“Fine Darling and are you ok?” he asked her concerned.

“I’m fine except for a little ah hum pain in the ass that is.” She said chuckling. Jon just shooked his head and he knew he wouldn’t live this down for a while. 

“Ok we’re leaving and don’t let you know who know that we went back to the hotel I don’t need her showing up there. We have tomorrow off so keep little Ms. Nosy busy ok?” Jon asked Richie.

“Well no problem then an order is an order.” Richie said happily.

Ellie looked at Jon questionably and he just told her he tell her everything when they got to the hotel.

About twenty minutes later Karen was looking for Jon and couldn’t find him anywhere. Richie was talking with this cute blonde when he spotted her wondering around looking around like she lost something. He was just telling the blonde that he had to go and do something when he felt a tap on his shoulder. Turning around David was standing there wanting to ask him a question.

“Dave you scared me what’s up?” he asked him.  

“Where’s Jon? I haven’t seen him since he ran into Ellie and knocked her over.” He asked Rich.

“They took off back to the hotel for some quiet time if you get my meaning. Jon was so horny I just hope he waited til they got there and didn’t jump her in the car.” Richie said laughing.

“I think Ellie can handle herself. So I take it he didn’t let Ms. Hot Stuff know that they were leaving then because she’s been wandering all over the place looking for something and I believe it’s him. Why the hell does he get all the women it’s not fair.” Dave complained.

“Maybe we should be glad. But then again we have to make sure he doesn’t fuck up either. Right now he has more at stake at least than I do. I told him I’d tried to see what I could do to see if I could sway her over but I think she has her sights set on him and that could be because of Doc.” Richie told him.

“You mean you guys think Doc put her up to this?” Dave asked him.

“Yeah we think so. Look he brought her in right? And we did trace the other girls back to him so why not bring Karen in to interview us and get close to us so she can get to Jon this way? It kind of looks like they hit it off as a member of the team you know getting close to the band and they just bang fell for each other. You and Tico can’t because it will be to noticeable if it got out to the public because your girlfriends and wife will kill you if seen with her romantically where as if I go after her who cares.” He explained more.

“That’s true but what about Alec he seemed to hit it off with her earlier what if he wants a shot at her?” David asked him.

“You know Jon he wouldn’t let him because he’d fuck it up. I mean if you could Jon would rather have you because you did such a great job the last time but he doesn’t want to fuck up your relationship with April. Same with Tico. But Alec? No fucking way! So what you’re going to do is keep him out of the way so I can do what I have to ok?” he asked him.

“Yeah no problem Bro I’ll take care of Alec don’t worry. Just make sure Ellie and Jon are ok.” He told Richie as he took off in search of Alec and Richie went to approach Karen.

Walking up to her he asked, “Well there Darling you look like you could use a friend?”

“Richie Hi I thought you were over there talking to that blonde?” she asked him smiling.

“Oh well yeah but um it wasn’t going anywhere she didn’t have anything I wanted if you know what I mean.” He told her as he pointed to his head.

Laughing Karen said, “Really now I would never have guessed that.”

Moving in closer to her, “So the party here is winding down I was wondering if you wanted to go out for a drink?”

“Well it is getting kind of late.” She told him making a face.

“Oh Karen if you want to play with the big boys you would know that the night is just starting. It’s only one thirty and this is a short night for one of our after parties.” He told her.

“I was wondering about that how come?” she asked curious.

“Well all the record executives left because Jon took off with his girlfriend. She came in from the states. So now we can leave if we want to so how about it?” he asked her.

“Girlfriend I just heard that she was his fiancé. Which is funny because I just thought she was his girlfriend too. And just dating but I knew she was the mother of his child?” she asked him trying to get more info.

“Look Karen you want to know about Jon and his fiancé then ask Jon. Otherwise come out with me and have a couple drinks and have some fun. But we don’t talk about them got it?” he told her.

“Ok sounds like fun. And I got it.” She said and they headed out.

When they finally got up to their floor Jon couldn’t open the door fast enough. Ellie was trying to get him to tell her all the way back what was going on but everytime she tried Jon would kiss her and kiss her hard. She finally gave up as they were having a make out session in the back of the car seeing Jon didn’t give a shit that the driver could see them.

When they got up to the room as soon as the door closed Jon turned to her and slammed her up against the door and started to kiss her passionately. He took Ellie by surprised but she didn’t care she just went with it because she wanted him just as much as he wanted her. After a few minutes Jon picked her up and carried her into the bedroom and laid her on the bed. It didn’t take them long to strip their clothes, they wanted to feel each other and get as close to each other as they could. They made love all night and only stopped for a little while to rest and use the bathroom. Finally around nine a.m. Ellie fell asleep as content and exhausted as one could get and Jon let her get some sleep. Just before he dozed off himself he just stared at her as he traced her face and her lips as she was breathing and he couldn’t have been anymore happier in his life. Now he had to explain what Doc was planning now and hoped she understood.
