A Weekend to Remember

Friday afternoon came and Ellie was watching t.v. when Marsha came into the den. “Yeah Honey John’s here he says that you should be ready to go with him to the camping trip today? So are you?” she asked her.

Ellie looked at her with surprise in her eyes. He really came? “Marsha he’s really here?” she asked her cousin surprised.

“Yeah Honey he’s in the living room waiting for you. What do you want me to tell him?” she asked her.

Ellie thought about that for a few seconds and then asked her, “Could you just tell him that I don’t feel good? He was here last night and knows I wasn’t feeling that great so if you could? Please?” she asked her cousin with almost a pleading look on her face.

“Fine I’ll tell him but if he doesn’t go for it it’s not my fault.” She told her. Marsha left her and she took a deep breath of relief only because if anyone could get thru to him it was her. So she sat back and tried to relax when all of a sudden the door swung open and a very upset young man came barreling in with Marsha trying to catch up.

“What the Hell Ellie!” John stated very loudly.                                                                                                                

“I’m sorry Ellie but I told you that I might not be able to convince him. Do you want me to call Michael?” she asked her.

“No I’ll handle it. Thanks.” She told her.

“That’s what I thought.” Marsha said grinning and left them alone.

“Really Ellie? I told you that I was going to be here to pick you up and to be ready and I wasn’t going to believe any of your crap. Come on I thought after last night we hashed everything out?” he asked her.

“Hashed everything out? I don’t think so. You still didn’t answer some of my questions.” She told him.

“Oh for God’s sakes. What do you mean I didn’t answer all of your questions? Baby I don’t want to get into this anymore. We found out Dorothea did drug me so why are we fighting? Your letting her win.” He said to her.

“I know but, it was something she just said and it’s a girl thing ok. But I’m sorry John but it just keeps going in my head that she skipped her period and that you don’t seem upset about that.” She told him very upset.

“Is that what this is all about?” he asked her. She shooked her yes. “Awe Baby she was lying it never happened so why get so worked up about it?” he asked her.

“Because John at the time we didn’t know that now did we?...And well it didn’t seem to bother you that you could of fathered her baby.” She told him now with tears in her eyes.

Finally it hit John like a ton of bricks. He never thought of it like that before. That he could have been saddle with Dorothea and a child forever. “Wow I really didn’t see it like that before. When I see my future I just see you and me. I know we got lucky with Dorothea Baby and believe me I thank God for that. ” He told her. Well that threw her for a loop.

“Me? You see me in your future?” she asked him.

“Well yeah I do. Funny thing is I’ve never pictured another girl in my life before you came along.  To be truthful I don’t know what the hell it is about you Ellie but I can’t stop thinking about. And I was kind of hoping you felt the same thing for me.” He told her as he put his heart out there for her to see.

“Really? I…don’t know what to say John.” She told him as she was still tearing up.

“Just tell me that you love me.” He said.

“I do Love you that is.” She said with all of her heart.

Smiling, “Then get a bag together quickly so we can get on the road silly. I have plans for us.” He said with a sneer on his lips.

She quickly threw a few things into a bag and with John’s help knew exactly what to bring. They walked out into the living room where Marsha was playing with the kids.

“Hey well I’m going to go with John on the camping trip. If I don’t come back tell Mom and Dad that I loved them.” She told her kiddingly.

“Hey nothing is going to happen, God.” John said as he rolled his eyes.

“Sure so when I get eaten by a bear…” she said to him as she turned to him.

“Go have a good time and don’t worry I’ll explain everything to Uncle Paul and Aunt Cecilia ok?” Marsha told her also being a pain in the ass right back to her.

“Fine then!” she said as they left.

It seemed like forever to get to the beach house seeing it was Friday afternoon and everyone and their mother leaves for the weekend on Friday. Plus it was the Holiday weekend to boot. But they finally made it. Tommy had a great beach house an hour outside of Sayreville. He had offered it to John when he wanted it. John had only packed one bag as he figured they were only staying for three days. Most girls would have packed for a week Dorothea always did. But Ellie just grabbed a few things as she thought the same way John did. One nice outfit, bathing suit, jeans, shorts, and undergarments. John carried in the bags as he let them in.

“So what do you think?” John asked her.

“It’s nice.” She told him. Have you taken many girls here?” she asked him curiously.

“What? Um no this is the first time that I’ve taken Tommy up on his offer Ellie. Baby I wouldn’t bring you to a place where I’ve brought other girls okay.” He told her as he put his arms around her waist and kissed her nose. “So what’s this all about?” he asked her.

Shrugging her shoulders she said, “I don’t know just nerves I guess. After what Dorothea pulled I…I just have pictures in my head of you with other girls that’s all.” She told him ashamed of herself.

“Hey was that why you picked a fight with me last night?” he asked her. She shooked her head yes as she put her head against his chest. “Oh Baby well then I’m glad I stood my ground with you then. Look from now on as of this very minute we are going to agree that we tell each other the truth ok? Come on look at me.” He told as he lifted her head up with his hand. “Promise?” he asked her again.

“Promise.” She told him as he bent down and gave her a gentle kiss on her lips.

“Ok let’s put our things in the bed room and figure out what we want for dinner how’s that?” he asked her.

She agreed to that and they went and dropped off their bags and headed into the kitchen. There wasn’t anything to eat in the house so they would have to either eat out or go shopping. Since they both were tired and didn’t feel like food shopping they decided to call for delivery. They found some menus and just ordered a pizza and waited for it to arrive. Ellie really didn’t know what to do with herself as she was nervously wondering the living room. John was just watching her and want to laugh but didn’t want to seem incentive to her.

He walked over to her and again wrapped his arms around her, “Baby now what’s the matter?” he asked.

“Nothing why?” she answered him still a little jittery.

“Well something is wrong because you seem all nervous and such.” He asked her again.

“Well are you expecting us to you know…to do it tonight?” she asked him shyly.

Smiling,  “No I can see you’re not up to it. You seem really tired and really nervous so if you want to talk about it after dinner we can Baby and I’ll try and answer any questions you may have.” He told her.

Looking up at him she gave him a small smile and a relieved smile. “That would be great John.” She told him hugging him tight.

The food got there and John and Ellie devoured the pizza and once they cleaned up John took her over to the couch and asked her what she was nervous about. “Ok it’s just us so I’ll try and answer what I can okay? So what’s got you so upset Baby?” John asked her concerned.

“Well uh for one I’m not on the pill right? You did bring condoms right?” she asked him concerned.  

“Yes I have plenty of condoms Sweetie so don’t worry ok?” he told her smiling.

“Ok then. Well you do know I still can’t do that well you know swallowing thing right?” she told him as she made a face.

Still smiling and chuckling, “Yeah Baby I know that and it’s ok. I told you I don’t care about that.” He told her again. “Anything else that’s bothering you?” he asked her.

“Well everything is going to change with us John. Sex just changes people doesn’t it?” she asked him.

Holding her hands in his, “Yeah it will it will make us closer. I love you Ellie and I thought you loved me but if you’re not ready then that’s okay. I don’t want to rush you into anything.” He told her lovingly.

“I love you too so much and I am ready with you that is. I think if it was with anybody else no, but John there’s just something about you that I fell for. I certainly wasn’t looking for anybody when I came here believe me but then you came into my life.” She started to get choked up and John moved in and started to kiss her. They stayed on the couch for a while making out which helped Ellie to loosen up. 

It was getting late and they decided to turn in so they headed to the bedroom. John was very comfortable as she knew as he just took off his clothes right there in a heap on the floor next to the bed. She had a hard time taking her eyes off him as he has a really great body for a seventeen year old. He turned down the bed as she was still nervously taking off her clothes.                 “That would be nice John thank you.” She told him sighing a breath of relief.

                “Hey I told you I love you and I would do anything for you. I just want you to be with me that’s all.” He told her with all the love in his heart.

“I just want to be with you to.” She told him back.

They got into bed and John held her tight as she cuddled up as close as she could without getting inside of him. They could hear each other’s hearts beating as they both drifted off. John woke up early in the morning and noticed that they somehow drifted apart during the night. She was curled up in a ball on her side so he laid on his side and just watched her sleep for a while. He moved a little piece of hair out of the way to get a better look at her face and she just moved a tiny bit. That alone sent chills down his back and well yes something else that he had to get rid of before she woke up because he didn’t want her to think that he was all about sex all the time. So he got out of bed as quietly as he could so he could go into the bathroom to rid himself of his problem before she saw it and want to try and help him. He loved that she would want to but he had other plans for tonight and didn’t want to spoil them with this because this weekend was all about her. It didn’t really take him long to take care of himself only because he was thinking of Ellie and how she was half naked lying in the bed just outside the door. They had slept late and luckily John was fine as he got up first and went down stairs to make his coffee. He knew she didn’t drink coffee so he had gotten her water ready for when she did come to the kitchen. She came down a little while later.

“Hey babe how’d you sleep?” he asked her as he got up and gave her a very good morning kiss.

“Mm-mm I slept just great how about you?” she wanted to know.

“I thought after we have our coffee and tea we could go out get something to eat and do some food shopping and then maybe go to the beach how does that sound to you?” he asked her.

“Fine by me.” She told him. And that’s what they did. They got what they needed and were back in time to still get to the beach while there was enough sun still out. John put together a little basket and they headed out. John found a nice little spot to lay down their blanket as Ellie was standing there just looking at him. He didn’t notice her at first as he was putting everything out until he looked up and she was just looking around.

“Babe come sit with me.” He told her.

“Oh right. So what do we do now?” she asked him.

“What?” he asked confused.

“What do we do now? Just sit here, jump in the ocean what?” she asked not knowing what to do.

“Haven’t you ever been to the beach before?” he wanted to know.

“Yeah but not in a very long time. Like when I was a kid. Well we have a pool so there’s no need to go to the beach. So Mom and Dad stop taking us when they put one in because Daddy got the route to Albany and his shift was two a.m. til one p.m. Plus overtime. But the others go and I don’t because now I don’t even go in the pool until the sun goes down because it bothers me and I burn really bad and I don’t tan just burn all summer.” She told him as her eyes were wondering and wringing her hands.

“Baby that’s why you put on sunscreen and believe me I’ll be more than glad to put it on you.” He said with a dirty smile.

“I get that but it’s the smell of it that makes me ill and I hate the feel of it on me.” She told him trying to smile.

“Okay then why didn’t you tell me this before we came out here?” he asked her kind of annoyed.

“Because I know you love the beach. And I can stay out here if I stay wrapped up.” She told him smiling.

“But Baby the whole point of us coming out here is me seeing you in that bikini you’re wearing.” He told her as he played with her cover up.

“Oh well um unless you want to explain to my parents why were in the emergency room with me having third degree burns I’ll just stay covered up until the sun goes down okay?” she told him as she was getting a little irritated.  

“Okay I’m not going to argue with you only because I have big plans for us later tonight. Now come here and give me a kiss.” He told her. She leaned in and kissed him as he took her in his arms and laid her down on the blanket. All of a sudden she started to giggle. He pushed up and asked her, “Hey what’s so funny?”

“I don’t know all of a sudden I felt like laughing.” She told him as she was still giggling.

“What am I going to do with you?” he asked her smirking at her.

“Just love me I guess?” she told him smiling.

“That’s a given.” He said to her seriously.

They stayed for a while but John couldn’t wait any longer. He wanted her and wanted her badly. He packed everything up and they walked back to the house hand in hand. Once there he let her take a shower first then him. He thought about asking her to take one with him but he didn’t want to scare her and he didn’t want to get ahead of himself because he didn’t know if he could control himself if they did. He then picked her up and carried her over to the bed. He laid her down and he looked at her so lovingly.
