Don't Go In There Alone

Sitting on the couch after putting Jimmy to bed Jon had his arm around Ellie as they were watching t.v. when she asked him, “Jon where are those guys?”

Jon looked at her and replied, “Do you really want to talk about them Ellie?”

“Yes I want to know where they are. So where are they?” she asked him again getting annoyed.

“I don’t know I guess there outside in their cars or something. I supposed they don’t want to be in here and feel like they are intruding on us. I heard Oscar that tomorrow they’re putting up camera’s around the apartment outside so they have a better view of the area and they can see them in their cars and at the home office pretty good huh?” he told her.

“Really? Yeah well as long as they don’t put any cameras inside I don’t think I can handle that.” She told him.

“Why not?  I thought we talked about that didn’t we? You know me taping us doing the nasty.” He told her as he went in and started to nuzzle her neck.

“Jon Francis if you think that we are going to do that you have another thing…” she started to rant when he started to laugh hardily. “Jon you are not funny!” she scolded him.

“Yes I am. You should see your face it’s priceless.” He told her smiling.  Ellie was not amused. “Oh come on Babe I’m only joking sort of. Remember I told you I still want that picture of you. And I’ll get it one way or another.” He growl at her that sent chills down her spine.

“Jonnn we do have Jimmy here and those body guards what if one of them interrupt us huh?” she told him blushing from head to toe.

“Believe me they won’t. First of all those body guards as you call them know they’re place ok? And as for Jimmy we’ll lock the door so when he tries to come in we’ll know it because we’ll be awake and hear him trying to come in. When we’re done I’ll unlock the door so he can just climb in with us like he did last night ok? Babe we can make this work why are you being so shy all of a sudden? Because he climbed in with us last night? He didn’t see anything and he’s fine with me being with you and he doesn’t seem jealous of me being with you so what is it?” Jon asked her concerned.

Looking at him and smiling sadly, “Well that’s it he not jealous of you. He seems fine doesn’t he.” She told Jon as he shooked his head yes. “I know I told him that you’re his Dad and that you’re a wonderful man and how the rest of my family has done the same but now being here with you and you well you know kiss me and everything I just thought he would maybe just tell you that I was his that’s all.” She told him a little sad.

Jon tried not to laugh but he did understand what she was going thru. Jimmy accepted him as his Dad. “Oh Honey I get it I really do but did you ever think that maybe he’s trying to be the big boy and wants to help you by accepting me. Remember when we were kissing earlier and he gave us the stink eye and went ick. But then when I went in to talk to him he seemed fine by it like oh no it’s ok Mommies and Daddy’s are supposed to kiss. I didn’t get it then but I was thinking did you talk to him before you guys came here.” He asked her.

“Like what? Like that he had to be a big boy and show Daddy how much you love him because he missed out of so much. Oh God yeah I did. And I told him it was my fault that I kept him away from you and that I have a lot to make up for. And that you love us so much and can’t wait for us to come to see you. I’m sorry Jon I’m being foolish. I guess I did want him to be a little jealous of you.” She told him feeling stupid that she even admitted it.

“Hey it’s ok Baby I told you I get it. You’ve have him from day one. He’s your baby. I’ve only had him for a few months and even I can see how special he is. We made a beautiful kid and when he’s older we’ll explain why I wasn’t there in the beginning and he’ll understand because he’s smart ok. Now with that said and before he wakes up I think we should take this into the bedroom what do you think?” he asked her as he was rubbing her back.

“Why what do you have in mind?” she asked him smiling brightly.

“Well why don’t you follow me and come and find out.” he told her as he gave her this smoldering look.  Getting up and taking her hand he led her in his room and shut the door. As he told her he also locked it. He turned to her as he was looking at her as thou he wanted to eat her alive.  All of a sudden Ellie felt a little nervous. She never saw Jon look at her like that. He sauntered over to her and took her face in his hands and kissed her passionately. She wrapped her arms around his waist and held on. Before she knew it he had them on the bed naked and he was making her scream into a pillow as she was cumming all over him. Luckily Jimmy has slept thru the night because Jon had made love to Ellie all night. It didn’t take long for Jon to recharge and Ellie didn’t even mind as she was so wrapped up into him that she didn’t even mind, there was just something about him that sex was just different with him. Kissing, touching and it went both ways. Finally by five thirty they both curled up together as he held her tight as she fell asleep in his arms.

A few hours later Jon woke seeing that he could only sleep a few hours anyway. He looked at Ellie smiling and couldn’t believe his good luck that she was with him. She looked so beautiful to him lying there with her hair all rumbled. He so wanted to wake her but he wouldn’t he’d let her get her sleep seeing what he put her thru last night but if he had it his way he would make love to her twenty four hours a day. He got up and made himself his coffee and put the t.v. on. He was going thru the channels when he came across one of the entertainment shows and he hit it just right when he saw himself and Ellie coming out of the restaurant last night. His eyes went wide and listened to what they were saying as they said he was coming out with the mother of his child after a dinner on the town with their son. “Will they or won’t they be getting married as they are in town with him before he heads out on his European Tour? Or will Jon stay a Bachelor and do what all rock stars do while on tour? Can this Jersey boy be tied down? Stay tuned.” The reporter said as Jon nearly kicked the television in.

He went to refill his cup and as he went to sit down again Ellie was up and wanted to know what was up. “Hey what’s wrong? I could hear you grumbling all the way into the bedroom.” She told him as she cuddled up with him on the couch. He didn’t want to tell her but he did.

“I’m sorry Babe but I thought we could go around town and not be disturbed.” He told her.

“No worries I know this is going to happen Jon and as long as we’re with you it’s ok. We’re safe with you.” She told him and he knew she meant that.

“Thanks Babe that means a lot.” He told her as he kissed her. Just then there was a knock at the door. “Oh that’s probably one of the guys I’ll get it before they wake Jimmy.” Jon said as he got up and answered it.

When he opened the door Leo was standing there with his Mother.  “Jon this woman said she’s your Mother and wants to talk to you?” he told Jon who was standing there not too happy. Ellie was in the background nearly having a breakdown.

“It’s ok Leo yes she is my mother.” Jon told him not too happily. Looking at her and asking, “What do you want Ma?”

“Well to come in for starters.” She asked him miffed.

“Not going to happen Ma I have Ellie here and she doesn’t want to see you.” He told her coldly.

“Excuse me? Jon I’m your MOTHER. You’re going to choose her over me? Just let me in.” she told him as she tried to push her way into the apartment but Jon wouldn’t let her thru.

“Ma no. I’m sorry but I told you I can’t. I have to respect Ellie’s feelings so please now tell me why are you here?” he asked her wondering why she just showed up.

“Well I saw on the news last night that you were home with her and my grandson. I was wondering when you were going to let me see him so instead I just thought I’d pop over and see him myself.” She told him.

“Like Hell! Jon you let her in here and so help me I’ll grab Jimmy and get on the next flight home.” Ellie yelled to him.

Jon just wanted to crawl into a hole right now. “Babe I’ll take care of this ok?” Jon told Ellie hoping she would calm down.

Just then Jimmy came out wanting his Mom. “Mommy! Mommy! Why is everybody yelling?” Jimmy asked scared. Ellie walked over to him and picked him up to calm him down as Carol saw him for the first time. She tried to push her way into the apartment again to get a better look at her grandson as Jon tried to keep her at bay.

Ellie saw this so she said, “Jon I’m going to take him into our bedroom. Get rid of her!” she demanded and left with her son.

Jon was so angry now at his mother he could scream but he had to play this just right. “Mom I need you to stop right now. You know Ellie is pissed at you for what you did to us and I’m not that cool about it either.” He said as she cut him off.

“Jon Sweetie I apologized to you about that and I know I have a life time of making this up to you.” She told him.

“Making this up to me? You have a lifetime of making this up to US! Mom! You kept us apart as she was raising our son. I’m sorry but if Ellie doesn’t want you to see Jimmy I can’t let you. I told you I need time to talk to her but you hurt us Ma really bad. Look we have a lot going on right now so I’m going to have to ask you to leave. Plus you’re upsetting my son.” He explained to her the best he could.

Carol stood playing the hurt mother card. “So you’re going to punish me for something that I thought I was doing in your best interest. Fine but when you’re done let me know you where to find me. I’ll be the only Grandmother at my Woman’s club that doesn’t have any pictures of my grandson.” She told him as she even was able to make a tear come down her cheek.

Jon just stood there in awe of her that she could still pull this shit off. “It’s not going to work Mom.” Jon told her shaking his head.

Carol looked at him innocently. “Jon I don’t know what you’re talking about?” she said to him.

“Mom I don’t have time for this crap. I need to see if my family is ok and you need to stop. Now I’m going to tell the guys not to let you get this close again. You are not welcome here until Ellie gives me the word.” He told her outright.

“That was my next question Jon. My do you have body guards? What’s going on? Should I be worried?” she asked him concerned.

“No Mom it’s just that the press is on us because of the whole I have a child thing I want them to stay away that’s all. I don’t want them near Jimmy is that alright with you?” he lied to her.

“Well of course it is you are a wonderful Father Sweetheart. I see that you are taking care of your family but don’t tell them to stop me for coming over please?” she asked him almost begging.

“I’m sorry Mom but until Ellie gives me the ok no.” he told her again as he tried to walk her to the door.

“Fine but why you’re listening to a girl I mean you never did that with Dorothea now did you?” she pointed out to him.

“Mom this is none of your business. And Ellie is not Dotty trust me. Ellie and I talk things over Dotty told me what to do. OK? Now bye.” He said as he opened the door. Carol wasn’t too thrilled but she did get the hint and she finally left. Jon finally let out a breath of relief.

Jon went down the hall and went into his room. Sitting on the bed and cuddling his son was his beautiful girl. He knew he did the right thing and threw his mother out over them. Jimmy was his flesh and blood and his mother stopped him from seeing and being with him. Well not anymore they were his family and he would do anything to protect them. “What are you looking at Sexy?” Ellie asked him smiling.

“The most beautiful site ever. How’s Jimmy doing?” he asked her concern.

“He’s fine now aren’t you baby?” she asked her son and he shooked his head yes. “How about I make breakfast are eggs and bacon ok?” she asked him.

“That sounds great. Jimmy you want to go watch t.v. with me while Mommy cooks?” he asked his son. Jimmy told him yes and father and son went into the living room while Ellie went into the kitchen to make breakfast. After they ate they got dressed for the day and Jon wanted to show off his New Jersey to them. Davis and Leo weren’t too thrilled that he wanted to go out into public but Jon had it in his head that everything should be fine if they all stayed together. He wanted to go to the shore because he wanted to show them his New Jersey and there shouldn’t be too many people there this time of year. It was a nice ride there as they pulled up to the parking lot and got out. Of course Ellie tried not to laugh as Jon was wearing a disguise so he wouldn’t be recognized a pair of sunglasses and a baseball hat. She thought that if he thought that nobody would recognized him then she’ll buy the Brooklyn Bridge for his birthday. 

“Oh come here Jimmy we don’t go near strangers Honey.” she said to her son as she tried not to laugh.

“Oh that’s funny. You’re just a laugh a riot aren’t you.” He said to her giving her the stink eye.

“Why yes I am. Do you really think you’re fooling anybody with that? I mean if Elvis ever tried to disguise himself with a baseball hat and sunglasses I can tell you that I would recognize him in a second and be on him like whipcream on strawberries.” She said smiling cocky.

“First of all you would drop dead if you ever met Elvis. And second I’ll take care of the whipcream and strawberries later Babe.” He said winking at her. Ellie just rolled her eyes and smiled. Jon was right and there wasn’t that many people here and he was happy about that. They started to walk on the beach as Jimmy was running up and down having the time of his life as Jon and Ellie were arm and arm. Ellie sucked it up as she never liked the beach as Jon loved it. Jimmy came back with a shirt filled with dirty shells.

“Mommy look what I got. Can I keep them?” he asked her.

“She baby you can keep them. I’ll just put them in my pocket book ok?” she told him as she dumped them in there getting sand in there too.

“Daddy can we go in the water?” he wanted to know.

“No Jimmy it’s too cold but I’ll take you when it gets a lot warmer how’s that?” Jon told him. Jimmy looked disappointed but he told them ok. Jon felt bad and asked him if he wanted to go for lunch and maybe get something good afterwards. That seemed to perk him up. They went back to the board walk where Jon knew of this little place to eat.

The guys hung back a little to keep watch just enough so they could still see them. Nothing was out of the ordinary and they were very happy for that. This time Leo and Davis sat on either side on them. After they finished eating Jon asked even thou that it was a little chilly out if it was ok if they went and got some ice cream. Jimmy and Jon were both going please, please, please and she started laughing at her men. She agreed and after Jon paid the bill they went off down a few more shops and ordered the ice cream. Jimmy saw a Merry-go-Round and asked if he could go on it. Of course Ellie said yes but she told Jon that she forgot to use the ladies room at the restaurant and where was the closest one. He showed her the nearest one was in the Arcade and if he could take Jimmy on it for her. Jon said fine and asked Davis to go with her. She told him that she could go to the bathroom by herself and Jon told her to forget about it.

“Jon Really I can pee by myself.” She told him.

“I don’t think so why do you think I hired these guys for my health? It was for you remember?” he reminded her annoyed.

“Ok, ok I forgot sorry I’m not used to this ok? Still love me?’ she asked him.

“Always now go will be right here.” He told her and gave her a quick kiss. He watched them head to the arcade as his heart skipped a beat. He was surprised as it actually did that. Yeah he definitely knew she was the one.

They entered they arcade and made their way over to the rest rooms. “I won’t be long Davis.” She told him. She went in and did her business then came out of the stall and went over to the sink to wash her hands. As she went to dry them another stall opened up but she really didn’t notice the person who came out until she looked up and standing behind her was Michael. “Oh My God Michael!” she said surprised but before she could scream he put his hand over her mouth.

“Hi Baby I thought you would never get here. When I heard you had to go and your rock star boy toy told you to come here well I rushed right over. You know you look as beautiful as the first day I saw you. Now if you promise not to scream I promise not to have my friend who is watching your kid and rock star there hurt them how’s that?” Michael told her so she thought for a second and knowing how he worked she knew he wasn’t bluffing. She shooked her head yes. “Fine then I’m going to let go and I have one guy watching the other one so if he sees him run in here then they’re going to get hurt.” Michael smiled as he removed his hand slowly.

Looking at him pissed, “Your sick you know that right? You’re willing to hurt a child?” she asked him.

Shrugging, “Well he’s not my kid now is he? He could have been but you left me.” He told her.

“What? I had him when I met you. Jon was my first my first everything you knew that.” She reminded him.

“Well we could have had one of our own. But no you were on the damn pill plus you always wanted me to wear a damn condom how the hell were we supposed to get pregnant anyway?” he asked her.

“We weren’t I wasn’t ready to have another child with anybody Michael. Least of all you. Look if I don’t leave here in the next minute Davis is going to think something is wrong so I have to leave.” She explained to him.

“You just want to go back to that loser of a boyfriend that’s all. Ellie I can take care of you so much better than he can. Runaway with me right now.” He asked her.

“What?” she asked him scared that he would make her.

“Michael I can’t I can’t go with you I have a son to raise.” She told him.

“Fine then we’ll take him too.” He told her as he was going to tell his friend to grab Jimmy.

“NO! You can’t you just can’t you’ll scare the hell out of him. Just leave him alone.” She told him firmly.

Just then there was a knock on the door. “Ellie are you alright? Do you need anything?” Davis asked her concerned.

“Just tell him to come in and nothing else got it.” Michael told her.

Ellie was so conflicted right now because if it didn’t go down right Michael could hurt her by hurting Jon and Jimmy. “Yeah I got it. Davis could you please come in here.” She said as she stepped back so he could see her.

Davis opened the door and could see Ellie standing there looking upset so he knew something was wrong. So being on guard and still standing at the door he asked her, “Ellie is there anything I can do?”  

“Uh yeah could you come here I need you to come over here please.” She told him and with her left had she was pointing to him and was hoping that he would understand that someone was behind the door.

Walking into the bathroom and on guard as he just didn’t feel that this situation felt right he carefully walked towards her. As he now was just pasted the door Michael came out and tried to knock him over the head with the butt of his gun but Davis felt that someone was behind him just by the look on Ellie’s face which also helped. So he turned around just in time before Michael was able to clock him on the head. They struggled as Ellie watched. She wanted to help but she didn’t know what to do so she just stood back. Davis and Michael were about the same build so they were even when fighting. But Michael cheated when he does everything and he stomped on Davis’ foot just right to throw him off and that gave him enough leverage to throw him into the wall and smash his head against it just right to knock him out of it for a few seconds which gave Michael enough time to run out of the bathroom. Ellie ran over to Davis to make sure that he was ok. He seemed a little out of it for a minute or two but he shooked it off.

Jon was having a great time with Jimmy on the Merry-go-Round when he realized that it was taking Ellie a while to get back from the bathroom. He was looking around the area for her and didn’t see her coming back and Leo walked over to him and asked him if he was wondering the same thing he was. Jon told him yes and asked him if he could watch Jimmy for him while he went to look for them. Leo told him no way that was his job and for him to stay with his son. Jon would not hear of this and that he was paying his salary.

“Jon I don’t give a shit. This is my job and I know what I’m doing. If something is wrong can you handle it? No I don’t think so, so I’ll be right back.” Leo told him.

“Leo if something is wrong then it’s too late believe me. Look I need you here with my son. He’s more important to the both of us and Ellie will tell you that. Please just stay with him and make sure nothing happens to him. Besides it’s me that he wants to hurt he won’t hurt Ellie.” Jon explained to him. Against his better judgement he let Jon go and took Jimmy back to the car where they would all meet back in fifteen minutes or Leo would call the police. Jon then ran to find Ellie and Davis and found the Ladies Room at the Arcade he gingerly walked up to the door and took a deep breath and opened it and saw Ellie and Davis sitting on the floor.

“Oh my God what the hell happened in here?” Jon asked them as he ran over to her and scooped her up into her arms.

“Jon where’s Jimmy? Where is Jimmy!” she yelled scared to death.

“It’s ok he’s with Leo and he brought him back to the car. We’re to meet him there in (he looked at his watch) in ten minutes or he’s going to call the cops.” He told her taking some hair from her face and putting it behind her ear.

“Oh thank God.” She said thankfully.

“What happened here?” he asked again.

They both looked at him and told him what happened and he blew a gasket. “MICHAEL! Michael was here? That fucking bastard had the nerve to try and grab you here! That Son-of a-Bitch. Well ok look we need to get back to the car right before Leo call the cops and when we get home we need to call Oscar and try and figure out what our next move is.” Jon said more upset than he ever was before.
