Finders Keepers

When she woke up she was hungry and had to pee. So she did the only thing she knew she had too she screamed for him. “MICHAEL! MICHAEL!” she yelled and waited to see if he heard her. Well it didn’t take long for him to walk into the room with some tea and soup for her.

“Well how did you sleep my dear?” he asked her all chipper.

“Fine I guess I need to use the bathroom.” She told him quietly.

“That’s fine but if you try to run well I’ll have to punish you and you know what that consists of right?” he reminded her.

She just shot him a dirty look. “How the hell could I forget? Now can I go to the damn bathroom?” she asked him again angrily.

Michael took off her restraints and then told her. “Oh and by the way keep the shirt and skirt in there your way to overdressed for me.” He smiled.

She gave him a dirty look and went in to do her business. When she came out she did what she was told and was in only her panties and bra. She put her clothes on the chair with her coat and pocketbook and walked back to the bed where there was a present sitting there for her. “Is that supposed to be for me?” she asked him not so nicely.

“Oh what do you think? Come, sit, and give me back your leg I need to re-chain you.” He said smiling and wiggling his eyes.

“Michael do you really need to I mean I’m not going to go anywhere especially now seeing that you have me in my underwear.” She told him disgusted.

“It’s just a precaution you know that, now open your present.” He told her excitedly.

She looked at him cautiously and started to open the box. It looked like a photo album of some sorts and she was afraid it was either of their past or some kind of stalker book that he had put together. But she was about to find out. She opened it and on the first page was what she thought a picture of them when they were happy. She looked at him and just shocked her head. “Michael if this is a look of our past it’s not going to work.” She told him sincerely.

“Just keep going will you?” he told her trying to keep his excitement contained.

So she opened the second page and there it was Jon and Dorothea in happier times. “Michael! What the hell!” she asked him pissed.

“What? I want to show you what that Jackass was up to when you were taking care of his Bastard kid what’s so wrong with that? Keep going its gets better. Look.” He told her. She didn’t want to continue but knew better if she didn’t so she turned the pages. It was pictures of him and Dorothea just before they got together and right afterwards. She tried hard not to show her jealousy but then came the next several pages when he had these photos of him and actress Diane Lane. Those got her going pretty good. He never told her about her before.

“When…When did he date her?” she asked Michael.

Looking at her he knew he struck a nerve. “He dated her just after he dumped her; I guess he wanted to try the wild side and Dotty wasn’t it anymore. I hear she’s a wildcat in bed. Plus she loves to party. Keep looking at the pictures you’ll see how he’s smiling in them. To tell you quite frankly I never seen him so happy before with either of you as he is with Diane. The only reason he dumped her was because he found her with his best friend Richie but you know the old saying Bros before Hos right.” He said laughing.

“Oh God what are they doing in this one? And why is his shirt off? And his hat? She’s pointing to it?’ she rambled.

“Yeah she’s pointing to the hat that’s sitting on his dick. And he thinks it’s funny see he’s laughing. Do you make him laugh like that?” he asked her straight.

“No I’ve never seen him laugh like that. He just smiles at me thou. I‘ll catch him when I wake up looking at me and he’ll be smiling at me…” she started to say until Michael started yelling.

“BUT DOES HE SMILE AT YOU LIKE THIS ALL THE TIME! I’M ASKING YOU THIS! DOES HE?” he screamed uncontrollably.

She knew she better to tell him what he wanted to hear. “No I guess not. How long did they date for anyway?” she asked him.

“Oh about nearly a year. But they made the best of it don’t you think? Funny how he never told you about a relationship that was so visible don’t you? Now my question to you is do you think he would be with you if you didn’t have that snot nose kid of his. I want you to think of that while you look at that book because he’s a rocker my love and he’ll cheat on you that is if he stays with you. Now I will stay with you just so you know. You enjoy your soup it’s probably cold by now but hey it’s still good I’m not running a restaurant here you know. If you need anything else I’ll get it for you.” He told her and gave her a kiss on her lips this time and left her to think.

Ellie sat there staring at the pictures she really couldn’t help it. Was Michael right? Would he be with her if they didn’t have Jimmy? When she’s not with him is he really not having groupies still in his bed? Damn it she thought Michael was getting in her head. But the thing was he could be right.

About an hour went by and Michael came back to see if she had eaten. “Well I’m glad that you got the soup into your system you’d get sick if you don’t eat.” He told her.

“Well I wouldn’t mind a sandwich or something else so the headache won’t come back.” She said to him still hungry.

“I’ll get you something else right after you do something for me.” He told her.

“Michael I can’t do that I don’t love you like that. And now to tell you the truth I’m not too sure about Jon. You’re telling me that Jon doesn’t love me like he did his ex’s I, I‘m just so confused Michael and I really think I need sometime to think about all of this.” she told him.

“No, no, no! You’re just trying to stall me! You know I’m getting so God damn tried of this Ellie! Putting me off! First it’s I have a headache then I’m tired then I might be getting my period. Come on! Now you don’t love me! I know you don’t but I’ll make you, you just need to give me a chance.” He was yelling at her while shaking her at the same time.

“Michael please stop! If you don’t I really won’t be able to do anything if you hurt me!” she screamed.

“OK I’ll give you til tonight and even if you don’t I don’t care we are making love tonight got it! I need to go out and get some things anyway just remember to take your meds and your birth control got it? I put everything in the drawer next to the bed where you can reach it. The glass of water right next to it. And you better not disappointment me.” He told her seriously as he left the room. Ellie wanted to scream either way he was going to make her do it. Just the thought made her skin crawl. But what was worst was not knowing if he was right about Jon.

Jon was arguing with the guys about where Michael was holding Ellie because they didn’t want him coming with them. “Look I’m coming with you guys whether you want me to or not. Nothing is going to stop me from going.” He told then outright.

“Jon we would love for you to come with us but you know nothing of procedure or how to handle yourself in situations like this. Our main goal is Ellie right now if you come with us then we’ll have to worry about you too and then we’ll have to split our attention and I don’t think you want us to do that right?” Ben asked him.

“No I don’t but I just can’t wait here and do nothing. I’ll go insane don’t you guys understand that? She’s my life look I’ll stay out of the way if that’s what it takes just let me go with you guys ok?” he was practically begging them now.

They look at each other and knew better for what they were about to do. “Fine but Jon you have to stay by the car and whatever you hear you can’t come in do you understand?” Ben asked him.

“Yeah sure whatever you guys say.” He told them as he had his fingers crossed behind his back.

“Well Oscar is going to kill us for this but Ellie may need you when we get her out of there because I hate to say this but God only knows what he’s done to her. Jon you’ll need to stay calm so can you do that?” Jared asked him.

Jon thought about it for a brief second, “I guess I’ll have to won’t I. Look we’re wasting time talking we need to get to her now. So can we just go?” he asked anxiously.

They got into the car and drove to this out of the way broken down house that was about an hour and a half out of Sayreville. It looked deserted on this dead end street so they decided to park on the next street over just in case anyone would see their car. They found a back pathway that led at the end of the street on the other side so they would come in that way. Jared was elected to go first to scout out the outside of the house first. They needed to know if there was anyone in the house before they went in. They didn’t want to be surprised. Jon was about to jump out of his skin.

“Jon you need to calm down. She may not even be in there.” Ben told him.

“But you said the phone call came from here.” Jon wanted to know.

“Yes I did. Michael could have used the phone here but have her stashed somewhere else. He’s not a stupid man Jon. That’s why Jared is scoping out the place first. We want to make sure when we go in we’re not surprised by anyone jumping us. Don't worry we’re closing in.” Ben told him. Jon just breathed heavily and shooked his head. He just wanted this to be over.

Jared was just making his way back to the front when a car was pulling up into the driveway. Jared hid behind one of the overgrown bushes on the side of the house. Jon and Ben also noticed the car pulling up. It took a few minutes as the person in the car was fiddling with some things before they stepped out. Jon nearly leapt at him and it took everything in Ben to hold him back as Michael got out of the car. “Jon no! You want to spoil everything? We need to catch him with her because if she’s not there he won’t tell us where she is then we’ll never find her got that?” he explained to him as Jon sat back and took some deep breaths to calm down.

They watched Michael go into the rundown house whistling to himself so they knew something was up. He was carrying some bags so they also knew he was staying there. “So when are we going in?” Jon wanted to know.

“Soon Jon let’s just give him a few. Jared needs to re-scout the house again to find out where Michael is and where he’s basically located in the house. So just as soon as we know we’ll go in alright?” Ben told him. 

Jon was so antsy now it wasn’t funny but he did promise to listen to them so he waited like he was supposed to. Finally Jared came back and told Ben that he thought that Michael was going down to the basement where he had seen a light on. This was killing Jon. But he let Ben and Jared go like he told them. They headed off to the house and left Jon at the front of the house and told him just in case if Michael comes running out the front to grab him. They headed in thru the living room and heard a noise in the kitchen so they headed that way.

 Jon couldn’t stand it so he went inside and slowly looked around. He heard talking coming from the kitchen and he knew the voices were of Jared and Ben. He didn’t understand why they weren’t down in the basement. So he went to the basement door and slowly descended the stairs. When he got to the bottom of the stairs he looked around and he saw a light coming for one of the rooms at the far end of the basement. He also could hear a man’s voice coming from there. He quietly walked over to the door and peeked in and what he saw made his blood pressure soar. There was Ellie in her underwear chained to the bed as Michael was pacing back and forth in just his jeans. He watched to see what the hell he was going to do.

“I told you no more excuses! I’m going to show you what a real man is and not some androgynous little piss ant!” Michael screamed at her.

“You’re just jealous Michael! He’s ten times the man you’ll ever be! Plus he’s ten times bigger than you too!” she shouted back at him smiling so Michael belted her across the face.

Well that was all Jon needed and he ran in the room and flew and knocked him off the bed. Ellie was shocked when she saw Jon as he got up and started pounding on Michael. It didn’t take Michael long to get Jon in a choke hold only because Michael had a good sixty pounds more on Jon and at least four inches in height. What Michael didn’t have was the determination and how much he really loved her. Michael knocked the wind out of Jon and got up as he heard Ellie screaming at him. So he turned to Ellie and turned all his anger on her. He wrapped his hands around her neck and started to squeeze the life out of her as she tried to pull his hands away to no avail.

Upstairs Ben and Jared had swept the first floor and finding nothing decided to try the basement and as they were descending the stairs they heard yelling. They took out their guns and carefully got to the bottom of the stairs when they heard smashing now and Ellie screaming. Running to the room with the light on they entered and saw Jon on top of Michael trying to get him to release his grip on Ellie.

They yelled at Michael to stop, “Jenkin’s freeze!” Well Michael was so into what he was doing that he couldn’t hear Ben or Jared and that he had to get Jon off of him so with his right arm he was able to get the right angle and throw Jon off of him and Jon fell off of the bed and hit his head on the side table which knocked him out.

                Ellie couldn’t see what was happening and she was starting to lose consciousness the tighter Michael would squeeze. Both Jared and Ben tried to get him off of her he was that strong and motivate. Finally Jared looked around and saw a chair in the corner of the room and went and got it. He tapped Ben on the shoulder so he would get out of the way and when he did Jared smashed the chair over Michael as he collapsed on to Ellie. They then pulled him off of her as she started to inhale to catch her breath.  

“Jared go check on Jon to see if he’s ok while I help out Ellie.” Ben told him. Ben examined Ellie to make sure she was alright and when she seemed that she was starting to breathe ok he told her to relax and that he would get the key from Michael to release her from the chain. He then looked at Jared who shooked his head and saw blood on Jared’s hand.

                “I’m going to call an ambulance and the cops.” Jared told Ben, “You better tie him up before he wakes up Ben.

As Ellie was getting her breathing uncontrolled she was finally able to ask about Jon. “Where’s Jon? I know he was here I thought I saw him fighting with Michael.” She asked them.

“Here let me get you out first.” Ben said as he released her. “Now don’t freak but Jon’s lying on the floor he hit his head and is bleeding from his temple. Jared put that towel on it.” Ben told her as she went straight to him kneeling down and put his head on her knees.

“What happened?” she asked worried.

“Michael threw him off of him when he was strangling you. He must have hit his head on the table when he fell. We told him to wait outside until we got you but of course he didn’t listen.” Ben said angrily.

“Don't you yell at him when he wakes up. He was just doing what he thought was right. Oh Sweetie come on wake up Baby everything is alright now.” She was saying to him as she was caressing his head and hair.

“Ellie your awfully calm how do you do it?” they asked her.

“I’ll lose it later. I’m great during the crisis it’s when it’s all over is when I fall apart.” She told them. Just then the Police arrived with the ambulance.

“Ok what do we have here?” one of the officers asked.

“A kidnapping we’ll explain everything down at the station you should have all the details down there.” Ben told them. “But first we need to get these two to the hospital God only knows what he has done to her plus he was strangling her when we busted into the room. He hit his head when the perp threw him off of him and hit head on that table.”

“Ok but I’ll need to still take their statements later.” The officer told him.

“I’ll give you his address. Ben told him. In fact Ben gave the officer all the info they needed of Jon and Ellie only because they wouldn’t be in any mood to talk today. Ben went to the Police Station with Michael so they could book him as Jared went to the hospital with Jon and Ellie.

Once they got there Jared called Richie to let him know where they were and Richie told him he was on his way. Ellie didn’t want to leave Jon but she has to because they needed to be seen separately. Jared had given his coat to Ellie so she could cover herself seeing that Michael had gotten rid of her clothes. So after the doctor had taken a look at her and told her to becareful of her breathing seeing that Michael had bruised her vocal cords because her voice did sound a little funny. Luckily she doesn’t sing so he told that was a plus but she couldn’t yell either. She also had to wear a bandage on her ankle because she did try to get her foot out of the chain and she ripped the skin around it. He gave her a suave and told her to keep it clean and bandaged. If it gives her anymore problems to see her regular doctor. The same for her throat.  She thanked him and went looking for Jon. It wasn’t very hard as she saw Jared and then heard the cranky rocker talking to the doctor.

“I really don’t, OWE! You did that on purpose. I want to know where my girlfriend is and I want to know now!” he demanded.

Ellie walked past Jared shaking her head smiling. Entering the cubicle, “Well I’m right here so stop yelling will you.” She told him as she walked up to him and held his hand as the doctor was finishing up his stitches.

“Oh my God baby I thought…well I was afraid…” he was trying to get to her when Ellie said to him.

“Jon Honey sit still so the doctor can finish please then I’m all yours ok?” she told him. Jon took a deep breath and couldn’t wait til the doctored finished.

“There you go Mr. Bongiovi now just keep it clean and when you take a shower just put something over it so you don’t get it wet. Then go to your doctor to have the stitches out in two weeks.” He told Jon.

“Yes thanks I will.” Jon said and as soon as the doctor left he grabbed Ellie by the waist and kissed her like his life was at stake. Ellie thought the room was spinning so she held onto Jon for dear life. God how she missed the taste and feel of this man. Yeah she knew how she felt about him. She loved him with every fiber of her being but any doubts she was having about Jon loving her like Michael told her went out the window with the kiss he was giving her at the very minute. She knew there was no way he could kiss her like that if he didn’t love her.

Pulling apart Ellie asked him, “Can we go home please?”

“Try and stop me.” He told her with a look in his eyes that were wild.

“Oh damn wait Richie’s here he’s in the waiting room.” She told him dying to get him home.

“Ok let’s tell him we’re both ok then get you home so I can pamper the hell out of you.” He told her as he kissed her on the cheek.

They headed out to the waiting room with Jared behind them. They saw Richie sitting talking to one of the pretty little nurses when he saw them coming down the hall. Richie excused himself and went to see his best friend when he saw the bandage on his forehead. “Whoa so Ellie finally clocked you one huh? No really how are the two of you doing?” Richie asked smiling as he gave Ellie and Jon a hug.

“Better now knowing that psycho is behind bars.” Jon said happily.

“That’s for sure. Richie would your parents mind taking care of Jimmy for one more night and we’ll pick him up tomorrow sometime?” she asked him. Jon and Richie just looked at each other then her. “What? What’s the matter is there something wrong with Jimmy? He told me he didn’t hurt him. Jon!” Ellie started to freak out.

“Calm down Baby everything is fine Jimmy’s safe he’s with your parents.” Jon explained to her.

Ellie looked at him in confusion. “Why? I thought he was with the Sambora’s?” she asked them both.

“Look why don’t I get you home and I’ll explain everything and Rich you might as well get some rest and I’ll talk to you later how’s that?” he asked him.

 Rich agreed and went home to give them their privacy. Jared drove them home so Ellie could get a change of clothes and they both could talk about what happened. Once home they changed but before they got into anything romantic Jon needed to tell her what happened from his prospective. He needed to know that she didn’t blame him for Michael taking her.

“Jon I don’t blame you. What happened wasn’t your fault. Michael was going to nab me sooner or later I just thank God he did it when I didn’t have Jimmy. And speaking of our son why isn’t he here?” she wanted to know.

There was no other way to tell her so he just said it. “Your parents were pissed at you getting kidnapped by Michael and I think they do blame me because they told me to send them tickets for Beth and Chick to come and get Jimmy A.S.A.P. and believe I don’t blame them one bit. He’s a lot safer with them than with me with that nut when he was running around.” Jon told her still blaming himself.

“Oh I see. I’ll talk to them. We do need to talk Jon about a lot of things. Michael told me some things and I had the guys bring something back that he had showed me from the house.” She told him.

“What the hell could he have told you? And what did you bring back with you?” Jon asked curiously and a little fearful.

“Why don’t we take a shower first I really need to get Michael the hell off of me. Just the stink of that place is all over me and how he touched me.” She shivered.

“Yeah that sounds good. Babe he didn’t…well you know?” he was trying hard to get the words out to ask her.

Ellie looked at him for a second before she realized what he meant. “Oh God no Jon he didn’t rape me. He was going to when you burst in. He had it with me stalling so he was going to make me when you burst in and jumped him Thank God. So I just need to wash all this crap off.” She told him walking over and wrapping her arms around his waist.

They went to take their shower and Jon was going to take care of her like he should have he thought. He felt he had so much to make up to her.
