 "Vegas? Really? But what about Jimmy we have to make arrangements wit

h the Sambora’s.” she told him a little shocked.

“It’s already taken care of Babe. In fact everything is. In fact I have one of the dress shops coming over with some dresses for you to look over and some suits for me. Nothing real fancy but just something nice for us to look good in.” he told her smiling those pearly whites.

“You’re crazy you do know that right?” she told him still wiping the tears from her face.

“Yeah you knew that when you met me.” He said as he gave her a peck on the lips. “So Elinore Cecelia will you marry me this weekend?” he asked her again as he held her hand in his and smiling widely.

“How could I say no to that face? Yes my love always yes.” She told him as he moved in and kissed her hard and then her passionately.

Parting and having their foreheads together, “If we didn’t have the store or whatever coming over in whenever or if I could think I would throw you down on the bed.” He told her breathing heavily.

“Well as much as I would love for you to do that but I have a meeting with the guys in I believe twenty  or so and you really need to back away from me right now. “ she told him as she was just about as hot as he was.

“Yeah ok well I’m going to get another cup of coffee and probably make it ice and I’ll come and get you when they get here.  Yeah.” He told her as he got up and quickly left as she was laughing as she walked out to the barn.

About an hour had gone by and Jon was getting antsy wondering where the hell they were. He wanted to get going on this because the day after tomorrow they would hopefully be husband and wife. He didn’t think he would be this excited about this but the more he thought about it the more he did. He never really thought he would ever see her again and after faith had intervened. As he was pacing and thinking the buzzer rang had startled him out of his fog. He went over to the system and let the gate open for them and then buzzed down to the barn.

“Hi Jon?” Jared said.

“Yeah hi is Ellie still there?”

“Yeah hang on she’s with Ben I’ll go get her.” Jared told him. He waited about a minute as he saw the truck pull up the driveway. So he walked over to the front door and opened it so they could see him when the buzzer went off.

“Yeah?” Jon said into it.

“Hey Honey what’s up?” she asked him.

“The truck just pulled up Babe so you want to start heading on up?” he asked her excited.

“Ok I’m on my way.” She told him.

Once she got to the house Jon and the manager of the store in town had several racks set up, one for her and one for him.

“Wow you’ve been busy.” She told him when she walked into the living room.

“Babe this is Connie Dunston and she has brought us an array of outfits to pick from.” He said excitedly.

“Well I see that. Hi Connie I’m Ellie. Thank you for doing this.” she told her smiling and looking at Jon.

“Oh you are so welcome. I know how important to look nice when going to events.” She told her as Ellie just looked at Jon confused. Jon just gave her the eye and winked and hoped that she would play along.

“Yes well I’m not use to going to these so Thanks again.” She told her realizing that Jon didn’t tell her and she should have realized that. They went over to the racks and each picked out something nice, not to flashy. Jon then paid for them and Thanked Connie for everything as Ellie just sat there staring at their purchases. She was staring into space remembering the first time she met him to now. She really didn’t think that when she returned home that she would ever see him again. She was off in her own little bubble when she felt a hand on her shoulder and a little shake. She jumped and he let go.

“El I’m sorry if I scared you but you really were in another world are you ok?” he asked her concerned.

“Yeah I’m fine so I guess we’re really going to do this huh?” she told him nervously.

“Yeah does that scare you?” he asked her as he sat next to her.

“I guess a little I mean I just thought this would never happen Honey that’s all. I’ve never pushed it because I didn’t want to push you away. And here you are pushing to get married which I find funny that’s all. ” She told him as she took his hand.

“Well maybe I just want to make sure that you can’t get away from me.” He smiled.

 “I hate to tell you but when you found out about Jimmy you were stuck with us.” She giggled.

“Baby I didn’t need Jimmy to be stuck with you. I just got lucky.” He told her as he lean in and kissed her.

Parting Ellie said with tears in her eyes, “You know most guys would have been pissed to find out that they had a kid. Or even not have been told about them but you were so understanding about it Jon and that just made me love you more.” she told him staring into his royal blue eyes.

 “Well I think our story was a little different. You didn’t tell me on purpose because you tried and the great thing about this whole thing is you even went to my Mom and gave her an Olive Branch. Not many people would do that Babe.” He told her proudly.

“Well I better hang these up or they’ll wrinkle. Oh by the way did you want to bring Jimmy with us or when we’re at the Sambora’s just tell them that you have a meeting and that we’ll be out of town for the night?” she asked as she picked up the garments.

“Well as much as I love him Babe I would love to just spend our Wedding night alone if you don’t mind?” he told her as he got up and sauntered over to her and kissed her on her cheek. “Or we could have him in the middle of our bed as I’m lying there with the biggest har…” but Ellie stopped him.

“OK! I got it. No I don’t need to explain to him why you are lying there with you know what in your pants. It’s bad enough when he had one and I had to get Daddy to explain why he was stiff. He was so scared something was wrong with him.” She told Jon.

“Really? Damn! I should have been there for that. I should have been there to explain that to him. See something else that I missed out on.” Jon said angrily. Well this made Ellie laugh and she couldn’t stop. “What the hell are you laughing at?” he asked annoyed.

Shaking her head and hands at him she really couldn’t talk at that moment. In fact she even couldn’t breathe. Jon just looked at her like she had lost her mind but a cute mind. Then she started to hyperventilate and he got scared but she shook him off when she still kept on laughing. He was smiling now and thought for sure that she lost her mind. Finally she was winding down as her breathing was slowing down as Jon was just standing there with his arms crossed.

“Are we finished now?” he asked her.

Shaking her head yes, “Hm hmm. I…I think so.” She told him.

“You know I just put my feelings out for you to hear and what do you do laugh. That’s right you laughed at what I said…” he was telling her as she stood up and walked over to him and started to give him butterfly kisses on his chest.

“Oh know don’t think that is not going to help you.” He told her smiling.

So she gave him the puppy dog eyes as her left hand wondered south, very south. Well Jon’s eyes lit up as she continued her assault on his chest and his pleasure zone when he grabbed her and threw her over his shoulder. She let out a yelp and off they went to their bedroom. Later on they went to the Sambora’s to have dinner with them and their son and told them that they would be leaving for a quick day meeting that Jon had and gave them all the information that they needed. Again they put Jimmy to bed after they read him a story and told him that he would be coming home in a day or two.

When the morning came Jon was up early getting things ready to leave as Ellie had woken to find him not in their bed. She got up in search of and found him in his office. “Hey you really like it in here don’t you?” she asked him smiling.

“Hey Beautiful, yeah I can get use to this.” he told her gesturing for her to come to him. Doing what she was told she walked over to him as he took her hand had pulled her onto his lap. “So you ready for tonight?”

“Yeah but I just want to make sure you are. You’re the one that’s going to be at the end of the firing squad. Once everybody knows that we got married they’re going to be pissed not just at us but at you because your fans are going to be pissed at you.” She told him wincing.

“Well we’ll handle our family and friends together and for everyone else that’s my problem ok? My fans well they’ll just have to handle it. People grow and they’ll just have to grow with me. If they don’t like it then they can find someone else to like that’s all. It’ just means they never liked the music in the first place just the damn looks.” He bitched.

“Ok let’s not spoil this moment because I know how you feel about that. But I love you so much and I think your true fans will understand but Doc is going to blow.” She said feeling a little sad.

“Baby I don’t care you and Jimmy mean the world to me and you’re my family and I want to grow old with you. I don’t give a shit what anyone else thinks. Ok so let’s get this show on the road. The car will be here soon and the plane’s waiting so we can get going and the hotel reservations so we can get ready and then off to the chapel. “ he told her as he kiss her hard.

Parting, “Ok then I’ll go get dressed husband to be.” She said smiling.

“You bet your life wife.” Jon told her winking.

They were waiting at the chapel and luckily there were no signs of any paparazzi in site. Ellie was sitting down and wringing her hands as Jon was pacing the floor like he usually does. Finally this older man came out from his office.

“Mr. Bongiovi?”  he called out when they were the only couple there and Ellie just giggled nervously.

Looking around Jon even smiled at that. “Yes sir right here.”

“Well we have you and your fiance next. The fee is twenty-five dollars please. You can pay Mildred first in the office and she’ll then set you up at the altar. Then your fiance will walk down the aisle to you and I see here you choose Elvis’ classic You Can’t Help falling In Love such a wonderful choice.” He told them as they looked on and tried to not laugh.  Jon then excused himself and went to pay for the ceremony as Ellie waited and as the old man went to get the Elvis Preacher. She was jumping out of her skin she was so nervous and really didn’t understand why. She was marrying the man of her dreams. He man that she had love since she was sixteen.

Jon and Mildred came out of the office together as they were talking about where Jon was going to be and where Ellie was going to be also.

“Oh look how beautiful you are my dear. Well ok you are going to be coming down from here as he will be at the altar and then when you get to him stand right beside him as Elvis will then begin ok?” Mildred explained to her. Ellie told her that she got it which wasn’t too hard to remember. Then Mildred took Jon and escorted him to where he would be standing.

Mildred then yelled out to the old man, “Donald you can come out now.” Which he did as he and the Elvis impersonator walked out and took their positions. Donald and Mildred were their witnesses as they started the music. Ellie looked around as she saw Mildred push something up front. Then she got her cue from her to start walking down and as she did all she could do was see Jon and nothing else. How handsome he looked in his off white suit standing there waiting for her as his hair well he had it done perfectly as her heart just sank inside her chest.

Jon was watching her walk to him and couldn’t believe how beautiful she looked at that very minute. She was with him all night and couldn’t believe he never saw it until now. She was glowing. She finally reached him and he took her hand in his. They smiled at each other as a tear ran down her cheek. They turned and faced the Elvis impersonator and he started the vows.  

He takes her left hand and as he holds it he slides her wedding band on her finger.

I, John, take you Elinore, for my lawful wedded wife, to have and to hold I promise to be true to you in good times and bad, for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, I will love and honor you all the days of my life until death do us part.

She now takes his left hand in hers and slides his wedding band onto his finger.

I, Elinore, take you John, for my lawful wedded husband, to have and to hold I promise to be true to you in good times and bad, for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, I will love and honor you all the days of my life until death do us part.

“In as much as you have consented together in marriage, and by virtue of the authority vested in me by the laws of the State of Nevada, it is my distinct pleasure to declare that you are now husband and wife.”

“You may now kiss the bride.” Jon took her face into his hands and gently kissed her as she held on to him by his waist. When they parted they looked at each other so lovingly.

“I love you Mrs. Bongiovi.”

“I love you Mr. Bongiovi.”

“Um hum excuse me but here’s your certificate.” Donald said.

“Oh, oh thank you.” Jon told him. “Oh and by the way can you delay filing this until say late tomorrow? That way it gives us time to get home before the reporters get wind of this?” Jon asked them.

“Well we could but why one of you celebrities or something?” he asked them.

“Yeah you could say that and we just want to get home to our son before all hell breaks loose you understand right?” Jon said to them as Ellie tried to give a puppy dog face to them.

“Oh Donald we can file it tomorrow with the others that come in there won’t be a problem youngins. Now you go and enjoy you wedding night.” Mildred told them. So before they left they took some pictures and then left for their hotel.

Once there they got to their room and just after Jon opened the door he stopped Ellie from going in when he made sure that there was no one around. “Jon what’s wrong? You think there’s someone in the room?” she asked him.

 “Nope.” And he took her in his arms and lifted her up and carried her over the threshold so to speak.

“Jon put me down this doesn’t count.” She giggled.

“I don’t care I’ll do it again when we’re home to I like doing this wife.” He told her smiling.

“You’re silly.” She told him as he put her down and kissed her like his life depended on it. Well her knees started to buckle and he had to hold her up.

“Baby are you ok?” he asked her concerned.

“Yeah I’m fine you just have me all flustered that’s all.” She told him.

“I do do I? Well I think I’m going to take advantage of that then.” he told her and picked her up again and carried her to the bed room.

They spent the night making love to one another and they didn’t miss an inch of each other. Jon took his time with her and he want to love every inch of her. He wanted to show her how much she meant to him and how much he wanted to make up to her. They finally fell asleep in each other’s arms exhausted but euphoric.

The next morning they woke up happy and ecstatic. They couldn’t wait to get Jimmy and tell him that they were now officially a family.

“Hey Babe are you almost ready to leave?” Jon yelled to her.

“Almost but do you have a minute?” she asked him.

“Yeah but I think it’s going to take more than a minute Baby.” He laughed.

“Oh very funny but seriously I need to talk to you.” She told him as she walked out of the bathroom.

Looking at her he became worried. “Are you ok?”

“Oh yeah Honey I’m fine come here I want to give you something.” She told him as they sat on the bed together. “Ok I know this has been bothering you for a while now so…well I’ve had this in the works for a while. And well when you asked me to elope well I just finished up with it so I could bring all of it with me. Mom and Daddy to express mailed it out to me so it would get to the house before we left and I had to tell them that we were eloping and well Daddy says thank you by the way.” She told him smiling.

“You told your parents that we were eloping? And they weren’t mad? You did tell them not to tell anyone about it right?” he said to her not to happy about it.

“Yes I did and you better wipe that stinky face right off now Mister or you won’t get your wedding gift.” She told him smiling.

I’s eye’s lifted wide, “Oh and what kind of gift would that be Baby?” as he wiggled his eyes at her.

“Get your mind out of the gutter.” Reaching in her bag she pulled out an envelope and gave it to him. “Here this is for you and I hope you like it.” She told him as her heart was pounding.

“What’s this a pre-nup?” he asked her trying to be funny.

“Just read it will you.” She told him shaking her head.

Smiling I took out what was in the envelope which was some legal documents. When he unfolded them he nearly choked. He looked at Ellie as he welled up with tears in his eyes. “El are you sure? I mean thank you Baby but when did you have time to do this?” he asked her.

“Well like I said I’ve had this in the works for a while and when you said you wanted to elope I got Mom and Daddy to call their lawyer to put a fire under his ass that’s all. Daddy’s been after me to do this for a while now so the last time I was home we went to his office to get things rolling. I love you I and I want you to be Jimmy’s Dad in every way. So now you are. He’s officially your son and no one can take him away from you.” She told him happily.

“Baby this is the best present you could have given me. Now I can’t wait to go get him and tell him. Does he understand that I am his Dad and why his last name isn’t mine? I never asked you that in all these years.” I asked her.

“Well he has asked me that when he did get older and I have explained to him as best I could. I told him that when he was born that you didn’t know about him and that things were just too complicated at the time so Grandma and Grandpa took us in to help me raise him and then one day God sent you back into our lives and I had to get to know you again. So once I knew that we were in love again and that we knew we wanted to spend our lives together we would be a family.” She told him.

Smiling lovingly at her, “How do you know what to say at the right time? I always seem to blow it.”

“No you don’t. You always know what to say to me and I’ve heard you talk to Jimmy and believe me you have always said the right things to him that’s why he loves you so much. So what do you say let’s go get our son.” She said to him.

They headed to the airport and got on the plane back to Jersey. They were excited to see Jimmy but also terrified to tell everyone else that they had elope. Her parents already knew and were happy for them but the rest they weren’t so sure. He knew his Mother was going to be furious about it and so was Doc. He wasn’t sure about the guys but his fans oh his fans were going to be pissed. They would just have to find out when they got home. Looking over to her Ellie had dosed off and all he could think of was how lucky he was that he finally had his family back and how lucky that he was that Ellie understood him and his love of music. He finally felt that his personal and professional lives were meshing together.

The End of Chapter Two

Reflections

It’s been a couple of days now and Ellie and Jon so far have spent it together quietly as the workers were fixing the fenced area so no one could get back in again and Jared and Ben were installing camera’s around the property in that area also. And as Ellie suggested they were having the barn renovated into a security office and sleeping area so that they could monitor everything from there instead on intruding on their privacy in the house. Jon just wasn’t with that at all seeing when he was on the phone with Ellie one night and heard Jared walking into their bedroom well that was the last straw for him. The Sambora’s were taking care of Jimmy and they were going over every day for dinner so they could see him and especially for Jon because he was only here for just a while before he had to return to Vancouver.

“Mr. and Mrs. S. Thank you so much for taking care of Jimmy for us we really do appreciate everything you’re do for us.” Jon told them as they were having coffee and tea after dinner as Jimmy was playing with Buddy. “Oh and thanks again for taking Buddy too with all the work that’s going on and well with Jimmy being here…” but Adam stopped him.

“Jon we’re glad to help out. With Richie away it’s nice to have a little one again in the house. Plus at the rate he’s going I don’t think he’s going to make us Grandparents any time soon.” Adam laugh.

Jon just laughed at that only because they really try like hard to make sure that they don’t. Just then Ellie and Joan walked in with the trays.

Joan asked, “So what are you two talking about?”

“We were talking about your son making us Grandparents.” Adam told her laughing.

“Oh well that will be the day. He likes be single too much.” she huffed.

“Ms. S. believe me he’s seen Jon and I together and I think he may be getting ready.” Ellie told her smiling.

“First of all will you two please call us Joan and Adam I think you two have earned it and I’ll believe it when I see it.” She told them smiling.

“Fine we will and you never know some girl just might wrangle Richie.” Ellie said as she took Jon’s hand in hers. Jon looked at her and smiled widely back at her and squeezed her hand.

“Yeah you never know but this one is taken.” He said as he pulled her hand up to his mouth and kissed the back of her hand.

“Well I’m glad you two are in a good mood because I need to ask you a question so please don’t get angry with me.” Joan asked a little concerned.

“Joan why would we get angry?” Ellie asked her confused.

“Because Jon your mother called me the other day and wanted me to ask the both of you if it was possible for another visit with Jimmy.” She told them. She could see how the two of them stiffen up and could see the anger in Jon’s eyes. “Now wait she was afraid to ask you Jon because the last time she talked to you well you blew her off. Now why don’t you think about it before you leave again and if you want we can do it here ok? But she does know she can’t come here or she’ll lose her chance to ever see him.”

“Thanks we we’ll think it over.” He told them.

They spent a little more time with Jimmy then read him his story and tucked him in for the night. They didn’t talk much on the way home but Ellie did snuggle up to him in the car. He didn’t realize how much he missed this. Once home they met with Jared and Ben in the kitchen.

“Oh hey guys how did the rest of the day go?” Ellie asked them as Jon looked on as he got his beer.

“Great the work is going very well. The fence is fixed and secured and we went around to the rest of it and everything else looked fine but we had them check just to make sure. And we also told them that we want them to come back every year to check it just in case if the fans ever do tamper with it.” Ben told her.

“Plus we got the cameras up in the back area so we can see if anyone tries to get in that way and we’ll start putting more in so we can monitor the whole back yard. We already have the side yards done if you want to check.” Jared explained to Jon as he was listening intently to everything they were saying.

“So if say this happens again the police will be call automatically even before you guys get to the house then?” he asked them.

They looked at each other and knew it wasn’t a question of him not trusting them but just making sure his family was safe.

“Yes Jon the police will be notified instantly at the same time we are so don’t worry.” Ben assured him.

“So we’ll leave the two of you alone then unless there is anything else?” Jared asked them.

“No we’re all set thanks guys.” Ellie as they all said goodnight. Ellie waited for them to leave and then she turned to Jon and asked, “Ok what was all that about huh?” as she walked up to him and put her arms around him.

“What?” he asked her as he kissed her forehead.

“You know damn what. Questioning them about their job. I already explained that to you so what was up with all of that?” she asked him again as she was giving him butterfly kisses on his chest.

“I can’t think when you do that you know?” he told her as he ran his hands down her back now.

“Ok stopping. Now tell me.” she said to him as she looked up at him as he whined.

“Oh come on I liked that.” He told her as he was rubbing her back.

“Well if you like it so much then answer the question.” she told him smiling as she ran her tongue over her lips.

“Oh that’s not fair. Fine I was putting them on the spot ok? And do they have to be here every fucking five minutes of our day? I mean come on.” He spat out to her letting her go.

“I thought it was something like this. Jon you’re not a jealous guy so what’s up with this?” she asked him curious.

“I just think it’s about me being away from the two of you and you thinking that I could be cheating on you. Plus we still haven’t settled on a date.” He said as she looked at him strangely.

“Whoa wait a minute I thought we couldn’t set a date because if this album comes out there is no way we could get married in a church so why set a date. That just doesn’t make sense right?” she asked him really confused now.

“Well we could set something up between you and I couldn’t we? Like a time frame of when you would like to get married. Because I have a sneaking suspicion that maybe you don’t really want to get married.  That maybe you like things the way they are. So if things get tough you can just take Jimmy and leave whenever you want to.” He told her finally. He needed to get that off of his chest because he didn’t know whether to tell her or not how he felt.

She stood there as she felt shell shock that he felt that way. He never said anything to her that he felt like this before.

“Oh I didn’t know you felt this way I mean I thought you felt this way so I never brought it up.” She said looking into space.

“Why didn’t you think I felt this way? I was asking you about things before you know that. Especially Jimmy’s birth certificate. I haven’t really forced you into putting my name as father on it have I?” he asked her.

“No you haven’t and I appreciate that.” She told him as she took a deep breath.

“You do know I could have sued you over it right? Gotten a DNA test done and everything?” he said to her.

Well that’s when her head popped up and stared at him like she could kill him as he stood there. Now her voice was stern and cold.

“Are you telling me that you would have sued me for custody Jon? That you would have taken our son away from me!” she asked him as she was ready for a fight.

Jon saw the change in her immediately and he would have laughed if it wouldn’t have pissed her off. “God you’re like a Mother Lioness aren’t you? No I’m not going to take Jimmy from you that’s the last thing I want to do so calm down Baby.” He said to her as he walked over to her to take her hand but she stepped away from him.

“Then why did you say it?” she wanted to know.

“I said it wrong and I’m sorry. I’ve been saying a lot wrong lately. It’s just that we really haven’t talked about it or putting me on his birth certificate. I mean what if something happens to you. Does he go back to your parents? I mean that would be fine but I’m his father but legally I’m not. Don't you understand that Baby?” he explained to her.

“Oh God I really didn’t think of it like that Jon I mean he only really knows my folks but you are his father and if something did…I didn’t do it on purpose I was just mad you know and didn’t want…” she started to cry and Jon embraced her in his arms.

“I know I get it I really do. But we’re together now and we need to fix a few things ok? So when the album is done we have a little bit of time before we have to go on tour. Since being cooped up together for two months we have a little time so how about we take off for Vegas and make everything legal?” he asked her.

“Are you sure I mean Doc’s going to have a cow you know that right? I mean at the start of a world tour his lead singer being married? I don’t know Jon I really don’t.” she told him unsure.

“Hey are you trying to get out of this?” he asked her a little worried.

“Jon I told you no I just don’t want you to get in trouble that’s all.” She told him again.

“Look it’s my band and Doc works for me. So if he wants to continue to work for me he’ll suck it up. As for the guys they love you and Jimmy and will be thrilled that I’m happy and probably get off my case. Look if you want I’ll make all of the arrangements ok.” He asked her as he ran his fingers over her face.

“Why do I love you so much? You know I never stopped.” She told him as tears were running down her face now.

Wiping them away, “I know I never stopped loving you either. I had always hoped that we would find each other again but I never thought that you would give me such a gift like you did. Ellie thank you so much for Jimmy but more than anything thank you for letting me back into your life.” As he said that he bent down and kissed her as passionately as he could. She clung onto him as tight as she could for her legs felt like they were going to give out from underneath her. Finally parting “Are you ok Babe?” he asked her concerned.

“Oh yeah more than you know. I do love you so much Jon and just give me chance to get use to your life please. It’s not easy listening to the news or when I call you and some stupid let’s just say “person” picks up your phone and tells me things that they want me to hear that you may or not be doing. Then the quiet here gets to me and all I do is think you know.” She started to tell him.

“Hey, hey, hey I know it happens to me too why do you think I got all upset over well you know? But why don’t we just forget everything that’s happened and start over ok? Let’s just forgot what was said or done and we’ll go from here ok? I just don’t want to go on tour with bad feelings between us because I know you won’t say anything to me will you? You’ll just go along like everything is fine just to make me happy right?” he asked her smiling.

“Well maybe but I am starting to come in to my own you know.” She told him playing with his chest again.

“No you just speak up when someone is threatening your family. But when it comes to you, you cower. Look I don’t want you to think I’m bulling you like Michael did. I want you to speak up for yourself.” He told her honestly.

“Oh my God Jon I don’t think you bully me. Where did you get that from!” she asked him scared.

“No Babe I said I don’t want you to think I’m bully you calm down. You see what he has done to you? Your mind and listening skills sometimes go ahead of yourself and you have to stop that. Like when we were just talking about the birth certificate. You got your defenses up so fast it made your head spin. I want to be your husband and father to our son and be the family that we should be.” He explained again as he kissed her again this time lightly on her lips.  Parting, “So what do you say we go upstairs and just relax and see where the night takes us?” He said wagging his eyes.

Laughing, “Sure my Rockstar why not. I can’t think of anything else I wouldn’t want to do.” She said as they took each other’s hands and went upstairs to their room.

The renovation of the house was winding down but the barn renovation was still going on and Ellie told Jared and Ben that they would have to overlook that seeing they would be working and living there. Just keep her informed on everything that needs to be ordered and of any fees. Jon was fine with that seeing he wasn’t going to be around much longer.

Jon was in his office and was still making little adjustments to it to make himself comfortable there as he just got off the phone. He looked like he had just swallowed the canary as he had made his final arrangements for this weekend.

Just then the phone rang again, “Hello?  Doc yeah, yeah don’t worry just have whoever send the itinerary over to each of us and we’ll all be there. Doc we’ve been thru this before we know how to do this. Yes I’ll call the guys before we’re supposed to leave if that makes you feel better. Alright I have to go I’ll talk to you before we leave ok bye Doc.” Jon chuckled as he hung up the phone. He knew Doc was getting antsy as he was making his pre-nervous breakdown call before they were to head out. He also knew this wasn’t going to be the only one there will be several more in the coming days.

Jon went in search of his girl but she wasn’t on the first floor. So he high tailed it upstairs and he walked into their bedroom and still didn’t see her and was about to leave when he noticed the French doors on his side of the bed ajar. He walked over to them and saw her sitting in one of the chairs drinking her tea and looking out over the back yard.

Clearing his throat so he wouldn’t scare her too much, “Hey Babe whatcha doing out here?” he asked her as he pulled up the other chair close to her.

“Well the sun doesn’t hit here til noon time which is actually good if I want to sit out here like this in the morning or the evening.” She said as she sipped her tea.

Looking at her he knew there was something bothering her. “A penny for your thoughts?”

Smiling and giggling, “Sure what do you want to know?” she asked looking at him as her heart skips a beat.

“Alright what’s bothering you?” he asked concerned.

“Well I miss our son I think he can come home now don’t you? The outer work on the barn is basically finished and we should talk about your Mother.” She told him.

“Why did you want to talk about her?” he asked confused.

“Well I’ve been thinking about that. I think I’ve been carrying this vendetta a bit too far. Since the last time your parents came over Jimmy has been asking some questions about them. Well he is older now and smart as a whip and he knows that I have a Mommy and Daddy but he doesn’t understand why you don’t. And since you’ve come back into our lives and well they have he’s confused. And I want to make it not only right for him but for you.” She told him as she looked into her cup as tears ran down her face.

Jon felt for her because he really didn’t help the situation either being away and/or agreeing with her to. He also was the one that helped in the situation in getting her pregnant so he felt guilty just like she did.

“El we were just kids when all this happened. I think enough guilt has been spread around for the last what eight and half years now. We have to let it go.” He told her as he held her hand in his but all he wanted to do was hold her in his arms and never let her go.

“Well I do too Jon and that’s why I think we should have your parents over again to see Jimmy. I think we should make amends with them and slowly acclimate them in his life.” She told him still staring into space.

“Well if you’re sure then I’ll do whatever you want you know that. But I want you to be ok with it El because you were the one hurt by it the most. I didn’t go into labor or have to raise him without me.” He told her as she just looked at him with her version of the stink eye. “Yes I know you had your family but that still doesn’t cut it. I should have been there and you know it.” He told her as he rubbed her thigh as he was just as upset as she was.

“You know when we were driving away that day I wanted to die. You standing there I just wanted to jump out of the car and run back to you and jump in your arms. But instead all I did was cry all the way home as my Mom tried to talk to me but I wouldn’t say anything to her.” She told him looking into his blue eyes and holding onto his hand.

“Yeah well I couldn’t move just staring at the car and watching it leave as it was getting smaller and smaller and then when it was gone I don’t know how long I was standing there until Marcia came out and finally sent me on my way. Real cool right?” he told her smiling and held her hand just as tight.

She was smiling and crying at the same time when he said that to her as she pictured that in her mind. “Jon promise me one thing ok?”

 “Sure Baby anything what?” he said to her as he would promise anything that he possibly and physically could do.

“That no matter what we will listen to our children and support them in anything they what to do. And when it comes to relationships we will always listen to them and talk to them about it before we say no.” she told Jon.

Well Jon started laughing. “Before we say no?” he asked her questionably.

“Well of course we can’t let them think we’re easy can we? Besides from experience we know what can happen so, I don’t...Honey no little shit is going near any of our daughters and you’re going to read the riot act to our sons plain and simple. And if you don’t do it then I will and I don’t care if I embarrass them either because I’m not going to be a Grandmother like my Mom was at an early age no way. Of course it would be a lot easier for them than it was for me but no way in Hell!” Ellie told Jon flat out.

“Ok Baby whatever you say. Now I have something to tell you.” He said to her.

“What? What is it? You look like you’re about to burst.” She told smiling.

“How would you like to go to Vegas this weekend?” 

Intruder

The next few days were very blissful for them as they were going to the park, the zoo, the Shore and the great thing about all this was they were tiring Jimmy out so he was sleeping soundly at night so his parents could have their moments alone together. By the fourth day when Jon had woken up he look over to see Ellie curled to her side facing him. Right at the moment he couldn’t have been more happier. He just stared at her for a few minutes when he started to move some hair off of her face and started to trace the outline of her face. She started to move as it was tickling her and she was flickering her eyes as she opened them to see what she thought was the most gorgeous man looking down at her.

 “What are you doing?” she asked him smiling.

“Looking at you Beautiful. I can’t tell you how many times I dreamt of waking up and having you next to me.” he told her looking solemnly.

“Yeah well I know the feeling but you wouldn’t be happy not doing what you’re doing. Actually I would love to see you trying to do an actual nine to five.” She told him laughing.

“Hey I could do a nine to five if I wanted to.” He told her a little insulted.

“Oh my God really? Jon you couldn’t sit still or be told what to do if you tried. Sweetie you’re a performer, musician, and song writer what makes you think that you could be tied down to a nine to five when you hated me doing it huh? “she asked him.

He thought for a moment and then leaned down and gave her a sweet kiss on the lips.

“How did I get so lucky to get such a smart girl like you? Your right I wouldn’t last two days if I did would I?” he said chuckling.

“No you wouldn’t at least not now you wouldn’t. I see you yelling at the guys if they goof up at sound check. You’re very anal Jon at what you want done and how you want it.” She told him grinning.

Jon just had his mouth open. “I am not!” he interjected.

“Bullshit! I just sit there and shake my head and feel sorry for the guys because they do know what they’re doing Hon.  But when you’re in one of your moods Oh my God you go off. Of course even when you’re not you can do that because you’re a perfectionist. Which there is nothing wrong with that but you don’t have to go off on them. Just saying that’s all. Like Mom always says ‘You get more with Honey than you do with Vinegar’ that’s all.” she told him as she cuddled in to his chest.

“You know if I didn’t love you so much I wouldn’t take that from anyone else you know?” he told her.

“Yeah probably but what if you didn’t know me huh? Let’s say I was at one of your concerts and I was in the front row and you looked down and saw me singing and dancing to one of your songs. What would you do? Just dance and sing on by or flirt with me?” she asked him.

“Oh no you don’t I’m not going to answer that I’m not stupid.” He told her chuckling.

“Why not?” she wanted to know.

“Because that’s a loaded question Baby. I could say of course I would flirt with you because you would be the most beautiful girl there. Or I could say no because I wouldn’t know you. Then again how would you be dressed? Sexy or normal?” he was asking her as she moved to reveal her breast as she was trying to get comfortable. Well that’s all he needed as now he was getting excited about thinking how she would have been at there first meeting at the concert and now this.

“Jon are you ok? Jon?” she asked him as he had gotten quite all of a sudden.

“What Babe?” he asked her as he was spacing out.

“I asked you if you were ok?” she said looking at him concerned that she may have said something wrong.

Smiling wickedly, “Yeah I’m fine perfectly fine.” He told her as he pushed her on her back and laid down next to her and said, “Yeah I would have picked you out and taken you backstage and rocked your world.” He told her as he started to kiss her neck and descend down to her chest slowly as he could feel her heave. Whispering in her ear finally, “You like that Baby?” All she could do was shake her head as her mind was now mush. Chuckling he continue his assault seeing that it was still early enough in the morning that he felt that they wouldn’t be interrupted. They had made love nice and slow as he eagerly continued down her body which was killing Ellie as her organism’s hit her fast and hard and her spasms just as bad. She wasn’t sure if she was going to survive the next two weeks of this or him for that matter.

Seven-thirty had rolled around and a little head came peaking in the door.
“Daddy?” Jimmy asked.

Groggily Jon looked up and saw Jimmy walking towards him and finally standing next to him besides the bed. “Yeah little man what’s up?”

“Are you coming down for breakfast?” he asked him.

Looking at his son and smiling, “You know I wouldn’t miss it. I’ll be right down ok?” he told him as Jimmy smiled and lefted to wait for him in the kitchen. Rolling over and putting his arm over Ellie he kissed her on her shoulder and sighed. His hand was on her stomach and he could feel the difference from the last time they were together. Girls he thought. He got out of bed and threw on some pants and a T and went downstairs to find that Jimmy tried to help himself to some juice but found a mess in the kitchen instead.

“I’m sorry Daddy.” Jimmy told him looking guilty and not sure what his Dad was going to do.

“Oh little man what happened here?” Jon asked him.

“Well I was trying to get the orange juice out of the refrigerator and Buddy came up and jumped on me knocking me and the juice out of my hands. I’m sorry.” He said again sadly.

“Oh Honey that’s ok accidents happen. Well let’s get the mop and we’ll clean this up before Mom gets up ok?” he told him patting him on top of his head.

Jimmy looked up at his Dad and asked, “Daddy?”

“What Bud?”

“You’re not mad at me?” he asked a little scared still.

“No why would I?” Jon asked him confused.

“I don’t know? My friends say that their Daddy’s yell at them for doing stuff like this and they told me you would too when you got home.” Jimmy told him seriously as hell.

Jon just stood there with his mouth open. Picking Jimmy up he walked over to the counter and put him on it. “Jimmy I don’t know what happens in their houses ok? But in this one I won’t yell unless you do something really really bad and who knows what that could be. Or I could be in a really bad mood and I might yell because of that and even thou that won’t be right it happens. Or your Mom and I might be fighting and we could be yelling at each other but that doesn’t mean we don’t love each other ok? Or we can be watching football and were yelling at the t.v. because our team is either winning or losing. Don't worry I’ll teach you everything about it despite what your Mom wants.” Jon told him chuckling.

“Yeah Mommy doesn’t like it either or does Grandma because Grandpa and the guys all yell and Mommy says they give her a headache.” Jimmy said with a straight face. Well Jon tried to keep a straight face as well but he knew that Ellie hated sports just for that fact.

“So is everything ok now?” Jon asked him.

Jimmy shooked his head and they went to clean the kitchen floor.   

Ellie had gotten up and when she walked into the kitchen she caught them as they were just finishing.

“Um what happened here?” she asked them curiously.

Jimmy just looked at his Dad as Jon answered, “Oh there was a little accident but it’s all taken care of now.” Jon told her as he winked at his son.

“Well glad that my men can take care of things so then I guess you guys can take care of Buddy’s little mistake over by the kitchen door then.” She told them as she stood there with her arms folded.

“What?” Jon asked surprised.

“Well as you guys were cleaning up this mess Buddy was making another one over by the door see?” she giggled as she pointed by the door.

Jon just stood there and sighed. “How the he…hec do you do it Baby huh?”

Smiling, “I don’t first I had my family then you sent the help away. It’s really not that hard Jon Mom did it with the five of us. Just take it one at a time. And I’ll let you take care of that it’s too early for me.” She told him smiling.

“Oh gee thanks Babe. Ok Jimmy it’s your dog so your helping.” He told his son.

Ellie started the coffee and her tea while her men finished up.

After breakfast they all got dressed so Jimmy and Buddy were the first ones down stairs. As Jon was putting on his t-shirt Ellie was finishing up zipping up her jeans. She heard him laughing in the back ground.

“What’s so funny?” she asked him giving him the eye.

“Nothing Baby.” He said as he walked over to her and gave her a kiss on her temple.

“Well something set you off.” As she smirked at him.

“Well if we were alone I’d be taking those off of you instead of you putting those on.” He told her as he started to nuzzle her neck. As she was enjoying herself as he was kissing her neck all of a sudden they her Buddy barking like crazy and then Jimmy yelling for them in a scared voice. “What the Hell!” Jon asked in a concerned voice as he ran out of their bedroom with Ellie right behind him.

Ellie nearly fell on the large staircase but regained herself as Jon was rounding the living room hall and was entering the den when he saw a woman about in her early twenties standing there as Buddy had cornered her by the back of the wall with a desk that she was going thru. Now Buddy had grown a little bit more so he wasn’t to small but right now the size of a cocker spaniel and he was bearing teeth to protect his little buddy. Jimmy was by the door screaming for his parents and yelling at her to get out. Jon grabbed him as he reached the door.

“It’s ok Jimmy I’ve got you. Wait here Mom’s right behind me.” He told him as he put Jimmy out in the hall as Ellie came running up.

“What the hell is going on?” she yelled.

“Call the police NOW!” Jon yelled to her and she grabbed Jimmy and they took off into the living room to do just that.

“Ok who the hell are you and how the hell did you get into my house?” he demanded to know.

“Oh my God you’re really Jon Bon Jovi! Um can you get this dog to stop please?” she asked him as she wasn’t sure what it was going to do.

“Why? You afraid he might attack? Good because if you enter someone’s house uninvited this is what you might get. You’re just lucky he’s a pup. Buddy come me’re. Come me’re boy.” He called Buddy over to him and told him to sit and he held on to him. “Look I asked you what the Hell are you doing in my house and how did you got in?” he still questioned her.

“Well my girlfriends dared me too so I came up the side of the house when I saw you and your son yesterday so I thought I’d try and see if the side door was open and it was.” She told him smiling from ear to ear.

“How the hell did you get thru the gate?” he wanted to know.

“Well I really shouldn’t say.” she told him looking around the room.

“Well you either tell me or the police which will it be?” he told her pissed.

“You called the police? Why I thought you were cool?” she acted surprised.

“Cool? You break into my house and scare the fuck out of my kid and I’m supposed to be cool about it? Girly you’re lucky I don’t tell the damn cops to throw away the damn keys.” he screamed at her. Well that made her cry and Jon just rolled his eyes at her. Ellie came in when she heard all the yelling.

“Ok what happened?” she asked him.

“She’s crying because I’m pissed at her.” Jon told her angrily.

“Oh did you explain why?” she asked him curiously.

“Well what the fuck do you think!” he snapped at her.

“Hey don’t snap at me ok? Now why don’t you go sit with Jimmy and wait for the cops. I’ll take care of her.” Ellie told him. Jon just got more flustered but went to see if Jimmy was ok and took Buddy with him. Once he left Ellie went over to her so she could ask her a few questions.

“Hi I’m Ellie what’s your name?” she asked her to see if she could get her to calm down.

Sniffing she looked at Ellie and said, “Amy.”

“Well Hi Amy. I kind of heard some of what happened. So some of your friends dared you to do this huh?” Amy shooked her head yes. “You want to tell me you kind of wanted to too? Maybe just a little?” she asked her smiling. Again Amy shooked her head yes. “Ok then Amy did you know that when you broke in that what you did was going to have consequences?” Ellie asked her again trying very hard to get thru to her.

“I guess…guess so. But I just wanted to meet him that’s all. Maybe get a souvenir? Tell him that I love him?” she told Ellie sadly.

“Yeah I get that Amy but you scared our son half to death. I mean there you were someone he didn’t know in his house that was supposed to be empty with only his parents, his dog and him and he was supposed to feel safe and there you are staring at him. How would you feel if you got up one morning and found some strange person staring at you some morning not so good now would you?” Ellie explained to her.  In the meantime the buzzer at the gates rang and Jon answered it and it was the Police so he let them in. He told Jimmy to stay put with Buddy and not to move no matter what.

Jon went outside to greet them and told them what happened.

“Well Mr. Bongiovi how did she get inside?” the officer ask him.

“Well she didn’t tell me how she got onto the property but she said she saw us yesterday going inside to the side door so she thought she would try that and it was unlocked.” Jon told them.

“Why was it unlocked?” he asked Jon.

“I think when my son’s dog had an accident this morning and we were cleaning it up we took him out one more time to make sure he was done and my fiance called us back in and I forgot to set the lock and the alarm. It really shouldn’t have been a big deal since I’m home and plus we have security camera’s around the house and a monitor in the kitchen but as we went upstairs everything was fine.” Jon explained to the officer.

“Well you and your band are getting more popular so I advise you to try and remember to make a habit of  resetting that alarm everytime you come in and out of the house at least right now or until you can get something set around your property. There must be a way for them to get in. I’d check in with your security to see where it is and have them take care of it A.S.A.P. Now do you want me to take care of the intruder or just want to scare them?” he asked Jon.

“Look if I lived here by myself I wouldn’t care but she scared the hell out of our son. Scare her yes and then call her parents and have her picked up ok. No I don’t want to press charges but you can do that right?” he asked the officer.

“Yes we can do that we’ll just take her downtown and call her folks and have them take care of it but I do suggest if she or anyone else try it again we should try another angle because next time they might try and hurt your girlfriend only because they really don’t like the wife or girlfriend Jon. Or even may hurt your dog.” He told him. Jon really hated to believe his fans would even think of doing anything like that but he had to think of his family first. They walked into the den where Ellie was still talking to the girl.

She got a little jumpy when she saw the police officer with Jon. “Look Amy it’s ok.” Ellie told her.

“Ellie this is Officer Johnson he’s here to take…” he was at a loss as he never got her name.

“Her name is Amy.” Ellie told them. “That was all I got out of her.

Jon was proud of Ellie for getting what she did out of Amy. 

“Well Amy I have to take you down to the department and call your parents. You broke in to these people’s home and that’s illegal. Luckily they don’t want to press charges so why don’t you come with me and will let these nice people get on with their day. Oh but before we go we need to know how did you get on to their property?” the Officer asked her.

She looked at all of them and finally asked, “Will you tell my folks that I helped you with you know everything?”

Shaking their heads in agreement Jon and Ellie told her fine so she told them down by this old barn area there is an opening wide enough for someone small like her to crawl through. They thanked her and then the officer took her out.

Finally getting Jimmy calm down and settled Jon brought Ellie into the kitchen so he could see the monitor from the kitchen. “Hon you want some more coffee or tea?” she asked him.

“Coffee if you don’t mind?” he said as he was staring in the monitor.

“You know I doubt it very much that you’ll see anyone else coming onto the property since the police have been here Sweetheart.” As she walked up behind him and wrapped her arms around him.

“Well it doesn’t hurt to be careful. Do you have Jared and Ben’s number available?” he asked her.

“I believe it’s in your office roll-a-desk. You can call them anytime you want.” She told him knowing that he was going to do it as soon as possible because he couldn’t let this go a minute more.

“Fine I’ll be right back.” He told her as she just smiled at him knowing that she loved him more each minute as the day went on.

Jon called the guys to come over as he told them what had happened and wanted the property taken care of before he left. He didn’t care what the cost he didn’t want this to happen again. He also call the Sambora’s and asked Joan if she could take Jimmy for a few days as they were taking care of this and he didn’t want Jimmy here just in case someone decided to sneak in while the workers were here. Joan told him that she would love to have him.

Jon then told Ellie and she asked him, “Mr. Bongiovi I do believe you did all this just to get us alone.” She smiled.

Jon just looked at her and shooked his head as he smiled. “Babe I wish I did. But you do know this is just part of what’s going to happen when this album comes out right?” he said to her concerned.

“No why? Jon you’re popular already here in New Jersey and MTV had been playing the crap out of your last two albums in participation of this album. So come on how are things going to change more? I mean you guys already know what it’s like to be mobbed and everything. Are you telling me that we’re not going to be able to go outside? Because they’re not going to give a damn about us it’s you guys they’ll want. Besides if we turn that barn into something for the guys for security we’ll have our own on the property how’s that? Jared and Ben can hire a couple of more guys if need be if this album does blow off the charts and we do need more security but why don’t we wait and see. We had one incident and we’re fixing it so now you need to calm down and just relax. Can you do that for me?” she asked him.

Much to Jon chagrin he told her yes. So he took Jimmy outside with Buddy to play ball for the rest of the afternoon.
