As Jon sat up he tried getting out of the bed as quietly as he could but as he moved the body next to him moved also. ‘Crap’ he said to himself. All he wanted to do was put some pants on, why he wasn’t sure because he wasn’t usually modest but he felt he could come off a little more stronger with some clothes on. Trying again he started off the bed and again the body moved. So he figured it would have to be like a band-aid and he just quickly got out and looked for his shorts or sweats when he heard a familiar voice.

“Dude what the hell either stay in or out will ya I’m trying to sleep here.” The voice said as it pulled the blankets over its head.

Jon stood there shocked and ready to kill. “RICHIE! What the hell are you doing in my bed!” he yelled at the guitarist as he picked up his shorts and put them on.

“I’m trying to sleep what does it look like?” Richie complained.

“Why? Why in my bed?” Jon asked him again as he sat on the side of his bed relieved.

“Do we have to do this now I have a massive hangover.” He moaned.

“Richie I swear to God if you don’t tell me…” Jon was saying as he started to shake him.

“HEY MAN THAT’S NOT NICE! Alright! Tico hooked up last night and needed somewhere you know so he asked if he could use my room and I told him it was alright and that I’d just bunk in with you. You were out cold so I just pushed you over and went to sleep. What’s the big deal we do it all the time?” he asked him confused.

“No it’s fine it’s just that well you scared the hell out of me that’s all.” Jon told him.

“I did? How?” he asked him confused as he was still half asleep.

“What do you mean how? I wake up you know naked and there is someone in my bed that I don’t remember bringing with me. Sound familiar?” he explained to him.

Richie started laughing. “I’m sorry bro I really am. I didn’t think about it that way. So was it good for you? Ha ha ha” Richie just couldn’t help himself which got Jon laughing.

“Yeah I guess right. I thought I was going to have a heart attack man I really did.” Jon said chuckling.

“Well you should have seen your face it was priceless. So what’s up for today?” Richie asked him.

“More radio interviews and were doing an interview for MTV. So start sobering up because you’re coming with me.” Jon told him smiling.

“Oh come on can’t you bring either Dave or Tico I’m dying here.” Richie told him as he put the pillow over his face.

“No because you just told me Tico hooked up last night and Dave has April here remember? And I’m sure as hell not bringing Alec God only knows what he got mixed up with last night. He probably can’t move this morning. So no you’re it get your ass moving Sambora.” Jon said chuckling.

 Jon and Richie were waiting in the green room with Rich Bozzett at the MTV studio’s when one of the producers came in and told them it was time to go into their Area/show room that looked like a kid’s playhouse to some grownups. They got settled as Nina Blackwood made her way in which the guys looked at each other because they thought Alan Hunter was going to do the interview. Not that they didn't like her but she was making a name for herself as being a bitch when asked to back off on certain questions the guests didn’t like, or ask to take off her list. They made their Hello’s and everything and they went over the questions she was going to ask them. Everything seemed fine as they started to roll.

Nina made her introduction and introduced the guys and they made their niceties. They talked about their second album 7800 Fahrenheit and how that went platinum and the upcoming tour to Japan with the Scorpions. But just when they thought the interview was about done Nina threw Jon for a loop.

“Jon if you don’t mind I do have one more question.” Nina asked him.

Jon looked at her curious because they had covered what was on her list. So he couldn’t image what she wanted to ask him. He looked at Richie who just shooked his head with an ‘I don’t know look’ on his face.  Finally he said, “Ok Nina shoot.”

“Wonderful isn’t it true that you’re a father and hiding him with the woman you had him with? And wasn’t she only seventeen at the time as were you?” she asked him with a straight face.

Jon and Richie just sat there for a few seconds before Richie had to grab him as he had jumped up to lunge at her. “Uh Nina we have to go and I think you should really be ashamed of yourself.” Richie said to her as he grabbed Jon but he ripped himself out of his grip.

“TURN THAT FUCKING CAMERA OFF! Where the hell did you get your fucking info Bitch!” Jon screamed at her.

“So it’s true then? Or you wouldn’t be going all ballistic on me. So why are you keeping this a secret? Is she blackmailing you? Or your management company wants you to keep this a secret? What is it Jon?” Nina kept badgering him as Richie was trying to keep him at bay.

“Where the Hell did you get this this INFO! You know what never mind you’ll be hearing from my lawyer.  RICH! Get the damn fucking car we’re leaving.” He screamed as they headed out.

When they got back to the hotel Jon was bouncing off the walls. “They can’t air that they just can’t. Rich get our lawyer on the phone.” He demanded.

“Jon you need to calm down your seriously going to hurt yourself.” Richie told him.

“Richie you were there, you heard that Bitch! She and that stupid show are going to out me and Ellie. How the fuck did they find out anyway?” Jon asked his best friend.  

The other guy’s heard all the yelling coming from Jon’s room so they quietly stuck they’re heads in to see what was going on. As Richie poured Jon a drink to try and calm him down he explained what Nina did to them after the main interview was over.

“Man that is just so crappy. How the hell did they find out anyway?” David asked them.

“Well now that he has a drink in him I have a thought.” Richie said carefully.

Jon looking at him said, “Well are you going to keep it to yourself or what?”

“Come on Jon it’s not that hard to figure this out is it. It’s got to be Dot. Other than us and your parents plus Ellie and hers I can’t see anyone else that would gain anything by telling anyone. I mean she’s still pissed isn’t she that you left her hanging in the wind for Ellie?” Richie asked him knowing what the answer is.

Jon thought for a minute because he was so upset over this whole ordeal it never occurred to him that Dot could be behind this whole thing. “Son of a Bitch! If she’s behind this so help me! Oh Fuck!” he yelled out as a thought came to him.

“Now what?” Tico wanted to know. Sitting down he started to turn white as a ghost. “Jon are you alright?” Tico became concerned as everyone else did also.

“I just realized I have to call Ellie. How the hell am I going to explain all this to her. She’s going to have the press come down on her like the Plague and it’s all my fault.” He told his brothers.

“Jon how the hell is it all your fault? It did take two you know.” Richie told him as he was just a little bit peeved at his friend.

Looking up at him, “Oh come on now you really telling me even when I was seventeen I couldn’t get a girl into bed? Yes I loved her and because I loved her you know you want to take things to the next level and when you’re a kid you’re a horny little Bastard. Plus she was a virgin so it was kinda like unforbidden fruit. I had to do a lot of talking but I got her, I got her and I never regretted it for a second.  Plus I couldn’t get enough of her. And the funny thing is I still feel that way. So no Richie I pushed her but I’m not going to apologize for it even thou she says the same thing you do. And now she’s going to regret being with me.” he poured out his heart to them as they just sat there and listen.

Finally Richie said to him, “Look Kidd we understand your crazy for her and I get that you think you pushed her into sleeping with you. But guess what you didn’t make her do anything that she didn’t want to do with you. You know why? Because she was in love with you that’s why. So knock it off. But one: if you don’t tell her what happened before she sees it on MTV she will kill you and two: you better make some kind of statement before they do because I don’t think you have a leg to stand on unless Tom can stop them from airing it.” Richie explained to him.

The guys stayed with him as he got their lawyer on the phone. Tom Jackson said that he would look into what he could do about them at least cutting out the part about Ellie and would get back to him. David asked how they were going to keep this from Doc and Jon didn’t know. Tico told them to just wait and see what Tom said first before they went and call everybody first. The only good sign was Ellie wasn’t calling screaming that there were reporters on their door stop wanting to know what was going on with her and Jon. Yet.

Hours had gone by and Jon was climbing the walls. He couldn’t work, he couldn’t sleep, and he couldn’t do anything but worry about the consequences that this was going to cause.  Plus he was driving the guys crazy also.   

“Jon will you sit down your wearing a hole in the rug.” Dave said.

“What’s taking so long?” Jon asked as he ran his hands thru his hair.

“You know you keep doing that you’re going to go bald.” Richie told him smiling. Jon just gave him the finger.

“Jon come on here drink this it should at least help your nerves. The others are wearing off.” Tico told him.

“Oh ha ha… Yeah Thanks.” Jon said taking the drink. Just then the phone finally rang and Jon jumped up. “I got it!” Jon yelled. Picking up the phone it was Tom and they talked for about ten minutes when finally Jon hung up the phone.

“Well are you going to tell us or what?” Richie asked excitedly.

Turning around and facing the guys he told them that Tom threatened them with a law suit if they aired any of the footage of him and Ellie. None of that was approved before he and Richie went on air and that Jon was blindsided with the questions.  They can only use what was approved. But if they got the information about Ellie and Jimmy that means that it’s now out there and now anyone can get it. So Tom is putting a Private Detective on it to find out who is going around spreading this information.  Jon gave Tom who he thought started this so they were going to start with Dorothea and all Jon could think was God help her.

Meanwhile Paul had drove up to the house and there was about four to five cars on their little street in front of their house. His heart drop thinking something happened to someone in the family. But then as he drove into the driveway he noticed they weren’t getting out of their cars. Until he stepped out of his.

“Mr. Anderson, Mr. Anderson! Is it true that your daughter is dating Jon Bon Jovi and had his illegitimate child?” one reporter blurted out.

Paul turned around and just stood there for a second shocked that someone had the gall to say that about his daughter and grandson.

“Who the hell are you? And what are you doing on my property? I’m going to give you people two seconds to get off before I call the police! And if you go near my daughter or grandson or any of my family it will be the last thing any of you do.” Paul told them as he turned around and went into the house furious. Once in the house he slammed the door. Cecelia looked at him wanting to know what the problem was.

“Do you know what’s going on out there?” he asked his wife.

“No why?” she asked him curious.

“There are a bunch of reporters out there asking about Ellie and Jimmy and if she’s with Jon. How the hell did they find out?” he wanted to know.

Ellie was in the next room when she heard her Dad and came into the kitchen. “Is that what those cars are all about out front?” she asked him.

“Yeah Sweetie they just cornered me when I got out of the car. Look you can’t go outside right now until you talk to Jon. I’m going to Call Joe and tell him to stay away for a while and if anyone tries to contact them just to tell them No Comment. And Ceal if you could call the rest of the family and do the same and just give the heads up too. We should have realized that this day would come sooner or later. But right now I’m calling the police and see what they can do.” He told them. There wasn’t really anything that the police could do because they weren’t on anyone’s property but they did come and tell them and warn them that because this was a residential area they were a hazard blocking the street path way so they would have to move their vehicles. Luckily by the time the other kids got home there were maybe one or two left just hanging around taking pictures but when they tried to approach them Paul came running out and they ran off.

Once Ellie could use the phone she sat down as the phone was ringing when Jon finally picked up. “Hello?”

“Hello Jon?” Ellie said.

“Ellie Hi Baby boy am I glad to hear your voice. It has been one hell of a day you just can’t image.” He told her.

“Bet I can.” She said sarcastically.

Jon had a cold shiver run down him when he realized what she could have meant by that. “You want to elaborate on that Babe?” he asked her knowing what she was about to tell him.

“Sure Daddy came home today from work and guess what? He was accosted when he got out of his car by a bunch reporters who asked him if his daughter was seeing you and if she had his Bastard child.” She told him. There was silence on the other end of the phone for about a few seconds and that worried her. “Jon?” Then she heard.

“FUCK!” and then a smash.

“JON! JON!” she yelled into the phone. But all she could do is still hear more swearing and more things being thrown about. The next thing she heard was the door opening and Richie yelling at Jon to calm down and why was he acting like this. Jon quickly told Richie what happened then realized that Ellie was still on the phone and picked it up.

“Oh God Babe I’m sorry I’m so sorry and I mean for everything.” Jon told her upset.

“Why are you sorry Jon it’s not your fault.” She told him again.

“Of course it is I got you pregnant didn’t I?” he said sadly as all this was going down.

“Oh God were not going to go down this road again are we? Because I swear Jon if I was there right now I’d belt you. Jon I love you and I loved you then so stop blaming yourself. I wouldn’t take anything back that happened between us.” She told him but before he could say anything else Chick came running in and told her to come into the den and fast. She dropped the phone thinking something happened to Jimmy as now Jon was yelling for her. As she got in there MTV did report that Jon Bon Jovi has an illegitimate child with his on again off again girlfriend Ellie Anderson. She just froze where she stood. Now the whole world knew of her and Jimmy. She ran back to the phone and just said to him, “Oh God Jon.”

“What the hell happened? Is Jimmy ok?” he asked nervously.

“Yeah but it…it just came on MTV news that were an item and that Jimmy is your illegitimate child. Jon it’s all over the world now. They’re never going to leave us alone. What am I going to do?” She asked him scared now.

“It’s what! Ellie it wasn’t supposed to be on MTV. Our lawyer told me that if they said anything we were going to sue them. Look Baby I have to call him right now can I call you back later?” he asked trying to stay as calm as he could be for her.

“Yeah sure but Jon what am I supposed to say to them?” she asked anxiously.

“I hate to say this but just keep saying no comment for right now. Hopefully I’ll have more information to tell you in a little while but for right now just try and stay indoors if you can. And Ellie I am sorry for this.  If I was just a normal guy none of this would be happening.“ he told her sadly.

“Hey why would I want normal it wouldn’t be any fun right? I love you Jon and anyway I can get you.” She told him from her heart.

“Yeah I love you too. I’ll call you as soon as I can. Bye.” Jon hung up the phone and was pissed that the pap’s were all over her and his son.

Richie asked him, “So the Vultures have descended on her?”

“Yep and her family isn’t taking it so well which I don’t blame them. Mr. A. got accosted when he got home from work and her sibling’s too so he had to go out and threaten them if they ever went near them again since they’re under age. Oh I just make everyone’s life so bright don’t I?” Jon said sarcastically.

Suddenly there was a banging on his door which startled him and Richie. “BON JOVI GET OFF YOUR ASS AND OPEN THIS DOOR NOW!” Doc screamed.
